Game Day: Cleveland at Houston

I know the Browns are playing well. I'm watching the game. Their good play doesn't mean there's not a lack of effort, or "fire" as one, poster put it, on the Texans side of the ball. There's been a lot of missed opportunities.
 
Earlier in the season i said just be patient, when the Texans stopped getting the ball to AJ, but now this is starting to get ridiculous. I haven't seen them throw to him in a while and I haven't noticed any double coverage on him.

If we lose this game.. all the progress we have made at the end of the season amounts to jack.

im so angry at the texans right now i could spit nails. id rather cut the whole roster and start a new five year plan than have to bear witness to this pathetic showing.

last game of the season.. against one of the bottom 5 teams in the league.. with a temporary head coach.. on a 9 game losing streak.. with an old beat up QB who is a career backup.. and their offense is running over us.

screw this.. there is NO excuse for this.. its a freaking joke.

Although I guess it just eleminates another 3 and out by our offense.
 
oh to hell with this.. the season is over.. my jerseys are going in the back of the closet until next year.

i feel betrayed.. to end a promising season like this...... im disgusted.

I can't see the game, but sounds horrible.. Seems we have become overconfident and what is sad, is that we should know better. Afterall we didn't like it when the Dolphins last year said our 1st game of the season with them was "practice"

Sure it can. I hope it doesn't but it can. Look guys, remember how we just completely whupped up on a Jags team coming off of a big win? Well now the Texans are coming off of a big win and they look a lot like the Jags did last week if you ask me.

They need to learn to respect a "lousy" opponent. I've seen a lot of progress this season in various areas (less in many) but they started the season losing to an opponent they were supposed to kick tail on and they're going to end the season losing to an opponent they are supposed to kick tail on. They obviously need to learn what Vinny said earlier in the thread and that is there are no gimmies in the NFL. That will be growth.

They teach this basic concept at the kiddie game level, They try to reinforce it at EVEY level after that..........& what do you still see at the NFL level?????

12 points isn't that much with 14+ min. left, but the way we are playing it might as well be 40.

Yeah maybe if we're lucky sportcenter won't show non-playoff games tonite. And if there really is a god up there who loves me we might still have a chance. Its only a two score game as horrible as the offense has played with the exception of DD.
 
They need to let Carr call some plays of his own. But before that happen can I get the O-line to give him some time to throw the ball and not get sacked? :hairpull:
 
Remember the first 7 weeks or so...... Andre Johnson was 2nd in the league with recieving yards and David Carr was 2nd in passing yards. Where has all that gone? :hmmm:

Ok... ENOUGH about Johnson... Carr cant even pass the freakin ball or look for anyone because he is flat on his back AGAIN!!!
