Game Day: Cleveland at Houston

I'm completely sympathetic to anyone who says they'd rather see their football played on a natural grass field. Unfortunately this isn't one.

This is an "unnatural" grass field and it shows, badly.

Earl was all over the place against the run in this current series (playing well) but took a bad angle on the Suggs run.

We are being dominated by the awful Browns, at home, on the last game of the season, with a chance for our first three game win streak.

Oh My Lord!!! Where's the Defense?!
The defense is fine. Giving up yards between the 20's isn't bad when you don't let them get TD's. Our offense has been the problem in this game.

Well the offense needs to wake up and make some d*mn good plays so we can win this one.

A touchdown (Texans) would be nice. The defense needs the offense to score. This one touchdown thing isn't going to get it done. If the offense had scored another 7 and maybe a 3 in the first half then the Browns would be playing from behind. Instead the offense has again left them out to dry (as usual).

Texans need points out of the offense. This Browns defense isn't that great. They don't stink but they're beatable. We just aren't doing it and now they think they're going to win. They're hanging in there because we didn't jump all over them and put them in hole.

I dont get it, the field is in tatters.............have they been using it for something else lately? The cold snap a week ago should not even be a reason, there IS a roof after all! Anyone have a clue on this one?

I'm not in the living room with the Tivo, so i can't rewind it but yeah i dont think that was a first. Anyone else got Icontrol or Tivo rewind it and see.

No matter how this game ends up it was a horrible, gutless effort on both sides of the ball. What a terrible way to end the season. Throw all of the "progress" out the window.

Maybe now the offense will wake up. Now that they understand that the defense isn't going to win this game for them (again)

You always hear Texans players say they aren't content with losing all the time... hm. Glad they told me, because the way they are playing now it doesn't look like they care to be on the field at all.

Thats bull. Even though this has been a horrible game and i mean horrible. The texans have made alot of progress this season and you cant take taht away because of one game. One thing they definitely need to work on and i dont think anyone will disagree with me on this is pass protection.

I can't believe we are losing. You would think that this game would've been a piece of cake for the Texans.

Both teams get paid. There is ebb and flow to most football games. Looks like two teams trying to win the game to me.

Holding on the return... almost a guaranteed three and out when we start inside the 20.

Hell we've got the ball on their forty twice and haven't done a damn thing with it.

Are you sure Vinny? I don't see too much effort on those tackles, otherwise the Browns wouldn't have so many first downs. And I don't see a lot of effort from the O-Line, either. I understand there's ebb and flow in football games, but sometimes there's more to it than that.

You just solved it... if the defense dont get a certain number of tackles or blocks or interceptions... they dont get paid... and if the offesive side dont get pancakes, they dont either...

Its a game. there is give and take in most of them. Watch more football if you don't trust me.

Looks like Davis has some fire left in him.

And what's this about them being paid? So what? Politicians get paid to be honest and do the right thing.

It's just a way of saying that both teams have pro football players. Just "expecting" your team to roll over another team is just pie in the sky. Both sides get a check to play well.
