Mixon is a good pick I wondered how far he would fall, it's easy for us play GMs, we don't have to deal with the media, but back to Mixon he possesses maybe the best blend of speed, size, and skills in this draft.

When the 2017 NFL Draft comes around, the Denver Broncos will have some difficult decisions to make as they put the finishing touches on building the roster. One area they are looking for an upgrade is at running back, an Oklahoma’s Joe Mixon has already been to Denver for an exclusive visit with the team.
Head coach Vance Joseph spoke on Mixon at the annual NFL owner’s meetings in Arizona, and sounded pretty comfortable with where he’s at, three years later.
“I thought Joe was a nice young man,’’ Joseph said. “Obviously, he had an issue three or four years ago, but he’s owned it. We brought Joe in because he didn’t go to the combine. We brought him, we talked to him for a day. He’s owned it. He’s been remorseful for his mistake.’’
Denver selects Joe Mixon - RB, Oklahoma
Did anyone tag @HouSportsWriter? He's up next for Cleveland.
his clock runs through the weekend? I thought it was four hours per pick?I PM'ed him but his clock runs through the weekend so he has time. That said he's missed his last 2 picks. Wondering if she should discuss a group pick.

Would anyone be opposed to me being Cleveland should this dude miss yet another pick?
I can't say that I will be around for all the picks (which is why I didnt volunteer for a team), but I do know how to leave lists.

IDK but we're going to have to make a decision on Cleveland because he's missed a couple of picks. The Raiders are absolutely free though if you want them.
17 DBs selected thus far, or 32% of all players taken. Crazy. Also, the run on DBs made me a little hesitant to go with a different position.
The reason I am interested in the Browns is that I am already fairly familiar with them due to friends and family. For the Raiders, I dont think I could tell you too much without having to look into the team, and, to be honest, I am not terribly interested in doing that.
It sounds like I have the support of a few members to take the Browns. So... without further ado
The Cleveland Browns select Budda Baker, Safety, Washington

There were a couple players I was looking at, but I like Baker's combination of athleticism and college production here for the Browns. His size is a concern, but at the end of the day, Baker missed only 1 game in his career.

@thunderkyss is up (provided my takeover of the Browns is indeed acceptable)
So as to not hold the draft up, if the Browns become on the clock between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM and I haven't left a list, group pick it for me.

What's really crazy is that I could see 3 more going before the round is over.It is crazy... but at the same time, I get it. It is a passing league now, and this draft seems to be pretty stacked with talented DBs.
That said, I don't think it goes down this way in real life.

If this was the real draft I would hope the Texans would jump the Raiders to pick up a certain slot corner that has slid in this draft.
If we're thinking of the same slot CB then the Texans won't need to trade up as he will likely fall pretty far in the draft after his domestic violence incident.
I hadn't seen that. I usually side with the victim, but this on sounds a little sketchy. No visible marks, why would he come out of closet, drag her across floor and choke her. So Mixon can break multiple bones in girls face and get picked in 2nd but have a he said she said with no damage done and get hammered. Doesn't make sense to me.
And jradMIT, the Raiders NEED corners
Interesting. Raiders corners were repeatedly torched all season on big plays and they were also hammered underneath. Sean Smith was awful. Maybe I'm wrong, will be interesting to see what they do.Not claiming to be an expert, grabbed it from here,

But you can never have too many CBs or pass rushers,

It's a deep corner and safety draft, it could definitely happen this way, not to mention that before the injuries to Sydney Jones and Fabian Moreau, those guys were locked into round 1 and 2 respectively.

Their D was pretty bad pretty much every position could be addressed.
