exactly. No reason to be optimistic about his non-response. No reason to be negative either. I get the feeling some are reading this thinking, "Whew, it's not that bad."
But Tytus Howard ain't been at practice, may not play Friday, & hasn't tweeted to ease our minds. It's not looking good.

Not based on just his recent issue but based on all of his previous knee injuries and surgeries, I would be surprised if his upcoming season is not significantly affected.

Also the recent development of Broeker who was previously thought to be a G who is now playing well at T is a pleasant surprise.

Yep hopefully it all works out. Danielle Hunter who the Texans added this offseason in hopes of building a formidable duo off the edges of the defense. If all continues to go their way, they’ll get a long look at the partnership right out of the gate.

To me it is substantial. To someone who made $3m/yr while playing, not so much:
"For each season the player plays, he earns credits. The more credits, the greater his pension amount. So, the amount NFL players make after retirement will vary. They are vested after 3 years.
Also, NFL players must be at least 55 years old to receive their full pension money. If a player wants the money earlier, he can receive a lesser amount plus penalties for taking the pension early. For a player that can wait until 65 to take the pension, the benefit greatly increases.
On average, retired NFL players earn about $43,000 annually from their pension."
The average NFL career is 3.3 years. I would guess that a 12 year career will result in a pretty nice pension.
This is the kind of stuff that will make players want to play for the Texans if all things are equal.

Not to mention the NFL retirement eligibility is after 3 years, not 10.
It's MLB that has a 10-year fully vested requirement.
I found no such "fully vested" requirement in the NLF pension plan, just the standard the more years you play the higher your pension will be. But maybe I missed it.

Haha, this is my plan for my 2 year-old son! I'm going to decorate his room with Jon Weeks memorabilia, and teach him the line, "Sorry Coach, I only long-snap." The other option was a career like Ryan Palmer, who's that you ask?--exactly! He's a PGA golfer from Amarillo, whose had a long career of making PGA cuts. Unfortunately he's going to be tall, so he may not have the repeatable stroke to make it to the third-level of golf, so long-snapper it is!

Despite what people think the long snapper position actually does require quite a bit of athleticism. Our boy Weeks is quite undersized but is super quick and kind of a unicorn for the position.

When Aaron Wilson asked about Will Anderson Jr. status, Demeco replied that he's been dealing with an ankle injury and he feels good about all of the players. Anderson was running last week and is trending toward playing against the Colts. Still sounds more like coach speak..................will have to wait a week to find out...................hopefully without re-injury for too soon a return.

The Texans reached an injury settlement with Teagan Quitoriano for his Grade II calf tear. This removes him from IR and makes him eligible to return to the team by Week 5 if he is not signed by another team.
I wonder if Quitoriano is destined to recurrent soft tissue injuries..................last year, he sustained groin and oblique abdominal tears.
