The Actual And Real 2016 Texans' Talk Mock Draft Extravaganza

The Detroit Lions select:

Kelvin Taylor, RB, Florida

He's got the bloodlines (Fred Taylor), but he lacks the big play ability. He could develop into a solid #2 or #3 RB in the right situation.

The Niners select:

AR-150819575.jpg&maxw=400&q=90

Brandon Shell, OT, South Carolina

The Niners have a zillion picks and so far they've taken QB, WR, RB, TE, OC, DT, FB, 2 CBs, and an OLB.

So I figure a Tackle has to be next.

With the 212th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, The Dallas Cowboys select David Perkins, Illinois State.

Adding some more depth to the Cowboys pass rush with the loss of Greg Hardy and Randy Gregory's suspension.

Like Noah Spence, a guy that transferred away from Ohio St early. Good thing about this guy, it wasn't because he was caught with drugs. He was slated behind Ryan Shazier and wanted to play. He's 6'3 240lbs and is said to have run a 4.43 40 yd dash, pressed 225 22 times and has a 33 inch vertical.

Absolutely love this pick. Probably can play RT, definitely can play either OG spot. Huge man with long arms and plays with a nasty streak. Art Shell's nephew, would be a day 1 upgrade over what the 49ers started at RT/RG last last yr.

Would he be a day one upgrade over Derek Newton?

Thanks, man. I was actually kinda surprised he was still sitting out there at this point.

With their last pick in the draft, the Niners take:

dt.common.streams.StreamServer.cls

Jared Norris, ILB, Utah

At this stage in the draft, might as well take a flyer on a hard worker who's not all that flashy athletically.

The Niners Draft:

7 - Jared Goff, QB, California
37 - Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
68 - Chris Jones, DT, Mississippi State
105 - Kenyan Drake, RB, Alabama
133 - Max Tuerk, OC, Southern Cal
142 - Dan Vitale, FB, Northwestern
145 - Kevon Seymour, CB, Southern Cal
174 - Bryce Williams, TE, East Carolina
178 - Morgan Burns, CB, Kansas State
207 - Dadi Nicolas, OLB, Virginia Tech
211 - Brandon Shell, OT, South Carolina
213 - Jared Norris, ILB, Utah

Although I only did the last two picks, I like this draft. That's a lot of young talent. Of course, at this point, there's no way they get Goff.

With the 214th pick in the TT Mock Draft the New England Patriots select Elandon Roberts LB, UH

Roberts is a coaches dream. he's fast smart and always in the right spots. He's undersized but with his heart/talent I expect him to become a starter someday. At the very least he will become an excellent ST's guy. (Probably a team captain.)

Unless they can use a big chunk of these picks to move up. I'd try to.

I expect Goff and Wentz to go off at 1 and 2. I don't think the Niners will be able to convince either of those teams to give up a possible franchise QB. If I were the Niners, I probably would use some of those picks to move up here and there, though.

With the 216th pick, Dallas selects Josh Ferguson, RB, Illinois

And with the 217th pick, Dallas selects Kevin Peterson, CB, Oklahoma St.

I keep hearing the Browns may not take the other QB, and move the pick. If I ran the Niners, I'd find out if that were true and what the price is.

So somebody like my picks first three (Haeg over my Murphy)

I like it. You gave Bridgewater much needed weapons. I don't know much about Haeg, but if he can swing between both tackle positions, he probably has more value than Murphy. All of the 3rd day picks look like solid depth, at least.

You drafted to the Chiefs strength, the defense. That's understandable because this is really more of a defensive draft. Make a very good defense great.

I really like this for the Vikings.

Shepard/Doctson fit with TB's lack of arm strength,

Dillon is one of my favorite S in this draft and a perfect fit next to Smith

Haeg has the ability to be one of the best OT's in this draft. In a way he reminds me of Fisher. He needs time to develop.

Lewis was a steal in the 6th. He's more pro ready than Haeg at this point. He's better than Newton right now as we speak.

I knew nothing about Lowry, but started watching him after Bah's mock. He has the ability to be a solid maybe even better than Crick type DE.

I don't know if I'll be here in the morning so sent my round 7 pick one choice to TPN, Bah007 and Lucky

I like them for Minnesota. They already have a great running game now they have complements for their young franchise QB. This really makes their offense complete. Their defense was pretty good but really needed a box safety. I think overall I made their team better with several instant complementary contributors.

Just the way the draft fell for the Cheifs. Houstons suspension helped make the Emanuel Ogbah pick easy. THen the loss of Smith in FA the same for Fuller.

Round 6 - Pick 220 - the Pittsburgh Steelers select

Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA
