Victor Ochi, OLB, Stony Brook

Thanks for announcing my pick TPN :handshake:

If I was a titans fan I'd be pleased with this draft

Laremy Tunsil, OT Ole Miss
Eli Apple, CB Ohio State
Su'a Cravens, SS USC
Jerrell Adams, TE South Carolina
Jordan Payton- WR UCLA
James Cowser- DE Southern Utah.
Victor Ochi, OLB, Stony Brook

I probably should have gone WR a bit earlier, but their secondary really needs help and I just didn't see the value there at WR... it's not a great class anyway

Seattle selects: Stephane Nembot - OT, Colorado

Seattle is making an effort to retool the offense around Russell Wilson after the retirement of Marshawn Lynch. This is the third OL we have drafted after we hit OG in the 1st and C in the 4th. We also added a RB and a WR. Without Lynch to take pressure off Wilson we are hoping to provide him with more weapons and better protection. Nembot has the size, length, and athleticism to be a future starter at OT in the NFL, but he is far from that right now. He is a project that needs development in his core strength, footwork, and technique.

He has a very low floor, which is common with 7th round picks. But he has a very high ceiling for a prospect in this range of the draft. With patience and coaching he could be developed into a very good pro player. Or, he could fail to improve and we're only out a 7th round pick.

Arizona
(1) QB - Paxton Lynch, Memphis
(3) DT - Willie Henry, Michigan
(4) C - Evan Boehm, Missouri
(5) CB - Rashard Robinson, LSU
(5) OLB - Matt Judon, Grand Valley State
(6) ILB - Luke Rhodes, William & Mary

Jacksonville
(1) DE - Joey Bosa, Ohio State
(2) OLB - Yannick Ngakoue, Maryland
(3) C - Nick Martin, Notre Dame
(4) ILB - Blake Martinez, Stanford
(5) CB - Eric Murray, Minnesota
(6) WR - Aaron Burbridge, Michigan State
(6) SS - Kavon Frazier, Central Michigan
(7) DT - Quinton Jefferson, Maryland

That Jacksonville draft is sick. Better not happen in real life..

Buffalo is done:

(1) Vernon Butler - DT, Louisiana Tech
(2) Kevin Hogan - QB, Stanford
(3) Willie Beavers - OT, Western Michigan
(4) Keyarris Garrett - WR, Tulsa
(4) Anthony Zettel - DL, Penn St
(5) Denver Kirkland - OG, Arkansas
(6) Steve Longa - ILB, Rutgers
(6) Ron Thompson - OLB, Syracuse

The only pick I didn't love at the time that I made it was Hogan, but with their depth chart at QB I couldn't wait until the third round. And I liked Hogan at #49 more than I liked Lynch at #19, mostly because Butler is pretty much the perfect player for the weak side DT spot in Rex's defense and I felt like I just had to have him.

Butler is a day one starter. Hogan is the future QB if Tyrod Taylor's level of play doesn't stay up. Beavers and Garrett are raw and need seasoning but probably start in year two. Zettel and Kirkland are solid depth guys that may not ever start but could be an essential part of a two-deep rotation. Longa and Thompson are depth guys that will see situational snaps and play special teams.

@infantrycak just want to make it known that the results page shows pick #252 belonging to Seattle. I believe my final pick is #247 and that #252 actually belongs to Carolina, unless I have missed something.

However, I will take the pick if Carolina doesn't want it. :dancer:

Blake is up for the Jets. I'm going to make the pick for him if there are no objections.

The Jets have no Punter on the roster right now so the pick is: Drew Kaser - P, Texas A&M

@austins23 is on the clock for Pittsburgh.

The clock has expired for Chicago. They could use some depth on the interior OL. I'm going to give them Matt Skura - OG/C, Duke and we can move on.

@thunderkyss is back on the clock for Miami.

I guess tk is on his way home. Which I would like to be, as well. It's going to take an extra 30 minutes due to having to take an alternate route. I should be back online by 7, but if someone wants to take my picks I will forward them to you.

I had actually taken over the Jets from Blake, but I'm fine with this pick.

But for some reason, my pick-list shows the Broncos picking at that spot.

Oops. I had forgotten that.

I think we gave the Jets this pick as part of the Clady trade since we gave Denver the Jets' earlier pick.

I like it. You gave Bridgewater much needed weapons. I don't know much about Haeg, but if he can swing between both tackle positions, he probably has more value than Murphy. All of the 3rd day picks look like solid depth, at least.

You drafted to the Chiefs strength, the defense. That's understandable because this is really more of a defensive draft. Make a very good defense great.
Just to clarify, I did not participate in this draft thread; just pointed out in my own mock I had Docston, Shepherd and Murphy. This would give Texans someone opposite Nuk and an excellent slot in Shepherd. If Strong continues where he left off last year, we would have three great WRs. I do like Haeg but have both Murphy and Beavers as better players. Each of these three can play
left tackle.

Is it still my pick? I thought I was through.

Sorry it took so long, but I'm taking Jalin Marshall.

So for Miami

1. Shaq Lawson Edge
2. Derrick Henry RB
3. Isaac Seumalo OL
4. Jeff Driskel QB
5. Devon Cajuste WR/TE
6. Avery Young OL
7. Wendell Smallwood RB
7. Jalin Marshall WR

I wouldn't say I went BPA & I didn't really address their "needs" But I think I've got some good players who are versatile & should help make for a very competitive roster.

Panthers Draft-

1-30 - Kevin Dodd, DE Clemson
2-62 - Keanu Neal, S Florida
3-93 - Kyle Murphy, OT Stanford
4-129- Daryl Worley, CB West Virginia
5-168- Jacoby Brissett, QB, NC State

identified pass rusher priority need & Dodd is a good one.

Neal replaces Roman Harper.

Murphy replaces Oher.

franchised Norman, but Tillman/Finnegan older free agents.

Brissett a better fit than Derek Anderson as back-up & developmental QB in system long term, think Anderson is finished.

I know Im in the minority here but I really like Brissit and he couldn't go to a better fit.

With their last pick the Oakland Raiders select jakeem grant WR Texas Tech. He adds explosiveness in the return game which they are lacking. His size might keep him off the field in other roles, but maybe they can carve out some plays to get him in space

I got tied up today thanks for making the pick. It was going to be either Skura or Brendel. Thanks for helping me out. Great pick

I really liked the Nembot pick.
