Yep ! THANK YOU Bob for getting this 70 + million dollar QB. It allows me to go to bed early or get some honey dos done. My wife appreciates it !
Tonight it's gotta suck to be Bob & Cal McNair.
True on thatMaybe now some people will see the difference between growing pains and a poorly coached team.
Sucking ≠ Growing pains.
Not with this quarterbackThis team will be lucky to make the playoffs.
Not with this quarterback
Bench his ass real talk they need to stop making excuse and his ass do to this not college football this the big boy leagueNope, not even close. I have seen Dak make throws that Osweiler would never make. In tight windows under three seconds, Keep making excuses for the trash of qb we call our qb, osweiler.

It might not be so bad for Cal. I read him as a.... Oh well, whatever....kind of guy.I hope they feel it...
Why in the world would we want to resign Wilfork? It's time for him to hang them up and host a show on the food network.
For that matter when you go to Over The Cap and look at what we pay Kareem Jackson for what we get out of the bum it breaks your heart to think that we wasted a first round pick on him and are paying him $6 million plus for the next few years. That website will break your heart if you're a Texans fan.
The suckage will continue in to next year. Osweiler cap hit goes from $12MM to $19MM. The Texans start out in 2017 in the bottom 25% of teams with available salary cap space (#26 w/ approx. $9MM). If the Texans re-sign Wilfork to his $5MM contract the cap gets worse. Duane Brown offers the most from a cap casualty release however hard to see how Texans can take a step forward at that position. A step back is a more likely scenario, especially with this collective management brain.
The Plain and Simple: If you start out as an 8-8 team with virtually no salary cap room available for improvement then a repeat performance of 2016 in 2017 is a very likely scenario, provided teams with much larger salary cap dollars available don't make considerably better improvements from the year before.
Example of how this Works: Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots will WIN Super Bowl 51 because Belichick was able to go out and sign 4 former 1st RD draft picks as free agents prior to the start of the 2016 season.

Agree with you on Wilfork, but why call KJ a bum?

Lamar was playing well early but he had a minor injury and they held him back and gave reps that normally would be his to AB. The problem is not a talent one it is a coaching problem first and foremost.I wonder a few thing. Why the oline sux so bad and if that isn't the real issue,. And did Alfred blue get lesser coverage and why the offense ran better with him in. Is Lamar miller a part of the issues
The score doesn't tell the whole story. It was worse than the score would indicate. We should have lost by more.was the game that bad? I just spoiled the result for myself but haven't watched the game yet.
if even ellisunit is saying we suck, then it must have been a very terrible game...
The way I see this is there is a lot of blame to go around.
This will be a different team after Jan 1?
No. Not after Jan 1, or any time, unless there's a wholesale redo from the top down. And I mean ownership down. Owner is guilty of malpractice with this team from jump street. Coach needs replacing. GM is a joke 3/4 of the time. No wonder we're a laughingstock.
I know they are trying but I look for signs of improvement week to week and I am not seeing it. Our quarterback is a pu**y and our head coach has no business calling offensive plays. George Godsey was doing a better job.I think it's a little early to start throwing blame around, or going into the drolls of salary cap mismanagement.
We don't know what this team is yet. They're not good enough to beat a good team..... yet. We know that, but this will be a different team after January 1. A better team hopefully, a worse team maybe... but we won't know until then.
Those guys are trying to get better every week. They're not playing techmo bowl & eating cheetos from Monday to Saturday. Then strapping on the pads come Sunday.
Oh well whatever....Cal is going to be alright...
Oh well whatever....
Oh well whatever....
Will a multibillion inheritance and a pretty woman under my arm, I could get used to the Oh Well Whatever lifestyle.
I'd still want my franchise to win, because winning is good for business. But when business is already good, why rock the boat with bold and potentially risky decisions?
TK we are THREE years into O'Brien's tenure here.I think it's a little early to start throwing blame around, or going into the drolls of salary cap mismanagement.

If we don't know what O'Brien's team is supposed to be by now, when will we, exactly?
Texans are lucky Gary Kubiak has class because if Rick Smith threw me under the bus like he did Gary I would have tried to score 70 on the Texans last night.
I don't make it a habit of defending Bill O'Brien, I'm not a fan.
Look, we can win the next six games for all we know. Then this board is going to be talking about Super Bowl, applauding McNair's team building acumen, & voting players to the pro bowl.
But we lose that seventh game & we'll be bringing up David Carr again, wanting to fire everyone & run McNair out of town.

I have no doubt that they want to win. They just don't know how it's done, Cal more so than Bob. Cal is of the main primary decision makers when it comes to player personnel, yet he doesn't attend the Combine or Pro days. What is he basing his decisions on? And I agree, if you're eating Wagyu steaks every night (see my 42"waist) and chasing it down with Opus One then yes indeed why rock that boat. All is well, life is good! So we didn't win this year, Oh well whatever, we will do better and get them next year because we know how to fix this.
