We suck...

Vote RED!!!
I am a big homer, you all know that. But OB and his QBs and this crappy don't know what we actually want to do offense sucks. Damn this makes me miss the Kubiak days (which is sad).

OB we know this loss is on you, but if all these blow outs are on you then what does that say about you ? Yeah....

We got beat by Ryan Reynolds and crew.

:kitten:

Offensively that went the way I imagined .

defensively, wtf. I know we damn near lost our entire secondary, but still...

& why was Scarlett in the game so much?

& if we don't like Novak kicking off, why is he still on the team? it's not the strength of his leg or his accuracy

We do suck. We suck a lot. The bad thing is we suck in a sorry division and the team's owner is going to eat up 9-7 all day long. He likes to be in the playoff hunt and doesn't seem to know the difference between gold and fools gold.

I used to worry that Kubiak would be our Marvin Lewis. Good enough to hold on to the job but never good enough to win any titles. I'm more concerned now that OB is that guy than I was about Kubiak.

I am ready to see what Savage can do. BO is not accurate at all. I guess we are stuck with him for a few more years unfortunately.
Texans are saddled with Brock for the rest of the year so you are gonna have to wait on maybe seeing Savage until 2017. But yea Brock really sucked today, scary sucked like what did we get ourselves into here with him ?

Agree we suck. We all knew the team needed to upgrade in the off season, the quarterback position, running back position, tide end position. Seems they failed to deliver on any of those needs yet the general manager was resigned to a new long term contract because of his unbeleavable work in the draft, bringing superior talent to the Texans.
I get so tired of this crap. Its not easy being a Texans fan year after year. It is what it is I guess. The owner continues to get rich and we continue to be pissed off.Atleast we can voice our opinion.

I wonder a few thing. Why the oline sux so bad and if that isn't the real issue,. And did Alfred blue get lesser coverage and why the offense ran better with him in. Is Lamar miller a part of the issues

We suck with the potential not to suck, which is different than about 10 teams in the NFL can say. Coaching/play calling appears to be most of the problem at this point but if this isn't a competitive team by week 10/11, there's no one else to blame but BOB.

Maybe now some people will see the difference between growing pains and a poorly coached team.

Sucking ≠ Growing pains.

We went 9-7 last season this season we have a new RB, WRs, QB, C, RG...

if we don't win in the playoffs I wouldn't be surprised to see new coaches next season.

McNair has shown he isn't as patient as he used to be.

When I saw the amount of Freeagent signings this off-season I thought it was a push to get the best team possible since this year the superbowl is in houston.
If that's what McNair was thinking, another wildcard round loss could very well make some heads roll. I guess we just need to wait and see

This team will be lucky to make the playoffs.

I agree. While I respect Zimmer & Turner they're not as good as we made them look today.

I liked how they got creative with their run game. They knew they struggled with a conventional run game & worked in some good screens (we have one screen that the NFL may have caught on to) & the Wildcat. worked good enough where they never had to get one dimensional or predictable.

Our team, not so much.

OB is terrible in clock management/utilizing timeouts , play calling and getting his team ready for games. Fricken weak sauce!!! The positives on the game were Clowney and Mercilus.

Yeah, when they know they have something that isn't working well they adjust and try to get something done. Not so much for this coaching staff down on Kirby.

By the time Blue got into the game the Vikings were giving us everything like short rushing plays as they played a defense with deep pass coverage being their top priority.
Being up 18 points late in the second half they just wanted to run the clock out which is what running the ball and letting Blue run for 5 or 6 yards or so a pop got them.

I was itching for them to put Savage in today since Oz telegraphs the receiver he intends to go to and never even looks for another. And his throws are hair-raisingly inaccurate. But we aren't about to see Savage unless BO gets hurt. They can't admit they made a mistake.

As I sat watching the game with my brother, a Seattle Fan, we discussed how this Texans team has lacked an identity for the last 3 years. Hell, we were able to go further back than that. The Texans have been called Denver South and now New England South. My question, who is this team? Right now, all I see is a team that has no "Juice" on the road, barely any "juice" at home to beat less than stellar teams, and a crap offensive staff that can't game plan their way out of a wet paper bag. Was Godsey calling plays today?

Something needs to be shaken up in a big way. I realize winning takes care of all woes, but it won't be long before we are back to slamming our mediocre team for being less than stellar. For the rest of the year, I'll watch the games to see if the offense grows, if the defense becomes more stout without JJ, and if our special teams can start doing more special things. But I'm not going to lambast them for being mediocre. We know what they are, let's stop trying to make gold out of bullshit. It will only keep causing us pain.

Deep down, the City has lived in football mediocrity with a love-hate relationship for our professional team. The fans talk about curses, talk about injury bugs, and how the football gods must hate us. But it seems as if we have attached that mentality to the identity of the team. When is McNair and Co. going to do something that makes this team truly the Texans?

So i was looking at the schedule and it's like looking at a doomsday clock.

I think we'll get a new oc on 10-31. Who? I dunno. A glance at the offensive coaching staff doesn't incite confidence.

I'm hoping we win two of the next three. The two home games most likely.

Then we can regroup in the bye & try to win some road games in the 2nd half of the season.

Watching what the cowboys are doing with a rookie 4th round QB make me sad . We suck indeed.

If Lamar Miller would run like Ezekiel Elliott & Blue would run like Alfred Morris I bet Osweiler would look as good as that rookie.

plus a couple of INTs

The running part I agree with.

Otherwise, BO makes too many stupid mistakes. He stares down receivers, doesn't scan the field well, doesn't seem to have command of the offense. Prescott is the exact opposite. Makes smart throws, scans the field, looks off defenders, and appears to have great command of their offense.

And I am the biggest cowboy hater out there.

Nope, not even close. I have seen Dak make throws that Osweiler would never make. In tight windows under three seconds, Keep making excuses for the trash of qb we call our qb, osweiler.

First of all, I couldn't care less about Brock Osweiler. That's Obrien's albatross. It's going to be what it's going to be.

I'll comment on bad plays, I'll comment on good plays. Brock had thrown some elite level throws over the last five weeks. That's a fact.

Honestly I thought our best FA aquisition was Lamar Miller. That's not playing out like I thought it would. Our offense would look much different if we could run the ball.

Every Qb in the NFL can make elite throws in the NFL, that's why they are professional qb's. The difference is the ones who can make more of those professional throws and more important, the ones who can make the least mistakes under pressure. Osweiler checks none of these boxes.

OK, I just said I've seen Osweiler make some impressive throws. I'm not arguing that Osweiler is an elite QB.

I don't think Lamar Miller is as good as advertised. He did look a little better today but I have felt all year that he doesn't see the hole and he's not aggressive. I want my rb to run angry. And yes, oline is below average to be kind.

Osweiler was 19/42 for 184 yards including the garbage time TD drive. Those are Edward Scissorhands stats. Just terrible.

BOB's gameplans and play calling make Kubiak look like a mad scientist. No creativity, no acknowledgment of things not working, no adjustments, and wtf with the LB doing KOs??

I'm sick of being blown out. We aren't losing hard fought battles, we are being throughly embarrassed by every team over 500. In short...yes, we suck very very badly and that sucks.
