The Official Houston Texans Draft Days Discussion Thread

According to NFL.com we still have that 4th pick in the 3rd round, but according to the reporting, that's one of the picks we gave up to move up. Unless we gave up a 3rd rounder next year for it... It already shows 108 and 124 being traded.

Somehow I doubt Casino Caserio has played his last card in this draft yet. Whatever we have could still change quickly.

I’m seeing the same thing on the athletic

Trade value chart advantage Texans. Traded 68, 108 and 124 for pick 44. A 24 pick jump. Not my preferred pick given acl tear but should be ready by opener. But I like the aggressiveness to “get their guy” to be the much needed slot WR.
ACL tears arent what they used to be, hell DW had 2 of them and he still moves arou d pretty well.
I'm more concerned about the Lisfrank.

Not happy with Metchie especially considering giving up the bounty to get him along with the ACL. I had him mid-low round 3 and wasn’t one the guys I was rooting to have. If they liked him, let the draft come to you. He isn’t special enough to spend the additional draft capital.

Not that I am the ultimate expert, so I’ll cede to the experts on Kirby. I mean they have an impeccable record drafting oft-injured guys that seem to be more coveted by the Texans then the general consensus.

I selfishly wanted Nakobe Dean at 37… definitely in trade up but he is still on the board so NFL disagrees with me.
I believe he is an injury concern. Which, makes sense that the Texans will eventually trade 80 and 107 to grab him. It might be to move up to 79 to get him but he should be a prime target for Carstereo.

I'm with you. Pierce,Pickens, and Moore have more qualities than him. The Texans don't have anyone aside from Cooks who can stretch a defense.

LZ’s mock draft day 2. He got Stingley and Green to Texans right yesterday.

37: Breece Hall

68: Nik Bonitto

80: Alontae Taylor
Hmmphh... Pitre at 62, no Mehtchie

Some of us can do the math and some of us can't. What can I say? No need for insults or name-calling.
I was referencing the movie you referenced clearly in good fun.

I mean at this point we are 1 and 1 and you’re comment in the other thread has now aged poorly.
