AFC/NFC WESTWhich NFC division are the Texans scheduled to play next year, 2025 ?
Ok that's what I wanted to know, thanks Austin23 !AFC/NFC WEST
Broncos, Raiders, Cardinals, and 49ers at home
More than likely Bills at home
And we go to the winner of the AFCN
There should be another NFC game as well right? Like the reason we played the Cowboys though they aren't 8n the NFC North.AFC/NFC WEST

It's the extra game when they added the 17th game to the schedule. Besides playing the usual own division, AFC division, 2 teams from the other 2 AFC divisions, NFC division, there's now 17th game - from one of the NFC divisions that we don't play (same place team). Not sure which one it is next year. There should be another NFC game as well right? Like the reason we played the Cowboys though they aren't 8n the NFC North.

As of now, that would be the Falcons. Most likely will be the Falcons or Bucaneers.NFCS

And that game should be at home if I did my math right. 8 home games this year equals 9 next year.As of now, that would be the Falcons. Most likely will be the Falcons or Bucaneers.
Yes, unless we get a São Paulo game or Munich or India or whatever. And that game should be at home if I did my math right. 8 home games this year equals 9 next year.
All AFC South teams played 8 home games this year and all NFC South teams played 9 home games this season. That will switch next year. And that game should be at home if I did my math right. 8 home games this year equals 9 next year.
They willThey need to go to 18.

2 bye weeks and that's probably workable. So, one preseason game or just eliminate them altogether.Add that to something I don’t want for next year.
I also want to see the games 6 to 7 days apart. This 4 day rest between games is not good.

These poor fellas fixing to play 3 games in 10 days or something like that! That is ridiculous.2 bye weeks and that's probably workable. So, one preseason game or just eliminate them altogether.
And they are not the only team doing something stupid like thatThese poor fellas fixing to play 3 games in 10 days or something like that! That is ridiculous.
My wish list is 18 games plus two bye weeks for a 20 week season. Two preseason games. Eliminate Thursday games. Games may only be played on Sat, Sun, Mon.
I would eliminate international games…yes I know it’s not happening. At the least I’d put some guardrails around the travel. Like international games can only be played before a bye week.
Well, the NFL gets $1 billion/year thru 2033 from Amazon. So that's not happening.Eliminate Thursday games.
How about putting it on Friday then? Still too short of a week IMO but anything is better than playing Sunday and turning right around for a Thursday game. Plus it sounds better … Football Friday!!!Well, the NFL gets $1 billion/year thru 2033 from Amazon. So that's not happening.
Same as high school. How about putting it on Friday then? Still too short of a week IMO but anything is better than playing Sunday and turning right around for a Thursday game. Plus it sounds better … Football Friday!!!
I hate the mountain and pacific time zones for football!!
Central time zone is perfect imo.
NFL will never put games on Saturday throughout the year up against college.
I agree I can do without the Thursday stuff.
Thursday games should only have teams coming off a bye after the first few weeks of the seasonSaturday games later in the season is what I was getting at. After college reg season and before playoff/bowl games. They already do that. I realize it won’t happen early in the season.
As to Thursday, while money is a big issue to owners and players..l think the players union should negotiate a slow end to that in the next CBA even if it costs their players a small amount of $$$. Start the season on Thursday with a marquee matchup….and maybe a couple very late in the season if they can’t negotiate a complete end. I have no issue with week one starting on Thursday since the players didn’t play on the prior Sunday.
I live in Mountain TZ and definitely prefer it to Central, having lived in both. Don’t have to stay up past 11 pm for night games to finish, and 11 am for early games is just fine. Just IMO. Eastern is way too late, and Pacific is too early.I hate the mountain and pacific time zones for football!!

It sounds better if you want to watch football in its purist form, go watch a high school football game on Friday nights. No spreadsheets necessary there. How about putting it on Friday then? Wasting their careers as we did J J Watt's?Ok here's a little good news today:
Texans edge rushers Hunter & Anderson are 2 & 5 respectivly in league sack totals.
I was thinking the same thing today!Texans better win in Jacksonville next Sunday, because there is a chance that might be the last win they get. The way they’ve been playing it’s highly possible they lose out.
I hope not but after yesterday’s debacle…

I actually believe that Demeco might pull the plug on Slowick after the Jags game (which would be our Bye week) if the offense were to flounder & struggle in that game like it did this past Sunday.Texans better win in Jacksonville next Sunday, because there is a chance that might be the last win they get. My main disappointment is they have been getting huge takeaways and still losing.I felt like early in the season the Texans were skating on thin ice. They were getting leads against bad teams, letting those teams close the gap and, in some cases, take a lead late in the game for Fairbairn to kick a field goal in the end for the win. Now they're losing those games. The signs were there.
