Texans random thought of the day

It was beyond irritating having to argue it after the pick was made. 40 time is easily the most overrated combine number people like to look at and it’s not particularly close.

Glad he shut people up and quickly.

I was not surprised that the guy who was really good at football turned out to be really good at football.
Yeah, the next thing you know, our scouting department will actually be watching games and film.

The NFL could have at least partially put this to bed by imposing a rule against flopping or obviously seeking a penalty by the QB. They did nothing instead. There will be even more scrutiny by fans in 2025. Mahomes is by far the worst offender, but Allen does it some too. And the more they get away with it, the more others will try it, harming the integrity of the game in the process.

I suggest that if a quarterback flops, he should then be flogged at midfield.

NFL wouldn't even need to institute a new rule just amend the unsportsmanlike conduct to include flopping.

I'm an ol river rat ( swimming tuber kayak etc) from the 70s onward spent many times on the Guadalupe and state park, Kerrville folk festivals twice. camping fishing friendly small towns beautiful country awesome Texas infused music and food and etc. we talkin Texas Hill Country.
In other words Deep In The Heart Of Texas.

I just bought this James Avery Jewelry who is established out of Kerrville a charm with all proceeds going to the recovery and relief efforts. Since the 80s I have bought mucho jewelry not for me except for my two marriage rings were bought there.

The charm with engraving if desired $80 . I'm giving this charm to someone that I knew and wears that jewelry that lives in that area and drives I10 to here and back for work. Barrista trailer up the street. She also house sits children for several Hill Country folks there.

She was emotional and speechless finding out it's named Deep In The Heart Of Texas. I engraved the date and also told her that James Avery have sold more than 30,000 of them. That ends Aug 4th.

Update James Avery Jewelry has sold over 100,000 charms They come silver or gold. They always sold and still make this charm but the timeframe was set for a month to donate all sales and proceeds go to the recovery and relief efforts by Aug 4th.

Just curious on what the logistics are for that I10 drive? Can’t be every day😳? I live near Kerville. Many local businesses are still providing workers with lunches from their restaurants. One of the businesses doing so is one of Kerrvilles two HEB’s (HEB originated in Kerville). They have been providing lunches from their BBQ restaurant. Yes, they have a BBQ restaurant in the store even with a bar. I always get a Brewski and a brisket sandwich before shopping there. God I love the Hill Country, lol.

I don't know, watching the video it looks like he still has a hard-on for Patty Mahomes..

I liked his father, but as they say "talent tends to skip a generation", because he sucks at his job. Worst officiated game I've ever seen.
Clay Martin was the Referee for the KC playoff game. But all will tell the same story and cover for each other. It's easier to get a Mafia capo to sing than have a NFL ref criticize another NFL ref.
