According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame:
An enshrinee, however, is not asked to “declare,” nor does the Hall of Fame “choose” a team under which a new member is enshrined. When elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, an individual is recognized for his accomplishments as a player, coach, or contributor.
I think it's different with MLB.
Is that normal in a given season, or are there some changes about to come down? The NFL office has announced that 8 league officials, all of whom have been working for at least 20 years, are retiring.
Those retiring are referee Tony Corrente, down judge Ed Camp, field judge Scott Edwards, field judge/side judge Greg Gautreaux, side judge Joe Larrew, replay official Johnny McGrath, line judge Mark Steinkerchner and field judge Steve Zimmer.
Six retired last season..........most long standing..............~6 (mostly outlier)-25 seasons. But three of those opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID, and one of those that came had to sit out the 2021 season due to an unspecified inury. Is that normal in a given season, or are there some changes about to come down?
Sounds like a barroom brawl sore loserAlvin Kamara was arrested by police for battery yesterday. He played in the pro bowl today.
Kyler Murray has unfollowed the Cardinals on Instagram and Twitter. Trying to figure out what that accomplished. Guess this millennial did not get his 1st place participation ribbon.
All millenials................All you gotta do is throw a hissy fit on social media and you’ll be traded to a team with a better chance at winning the Super Bowl! See: Beckham, Odell and Ramsey, Jalen

New Orleans Saints Running Back Alvin Kamara was arrested Sunday afternoon after his Pro Bowl appearance for an incident that we now know started early Saturday morning at Drai’s nightclub at the Cromwell Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. On Friday night, Ludacris performed to a massive crowd at the popular nightclub, known as a hot spot for NFL Players and a place where fights frequently break out. Police report that the incident took place near the elevators and the victim has a fracture in his right eye and other minor injuries. Key to the report is the fact that police say the surveillance video from the casino matches the victim’s story. The victim was interviewed in the hospital later that evening around 5:50pm on Saturday, according to police.
According to Kamara, he was waiting for the elevator with his girlfriend, his assistant and some friends, when the victim allegedly called one of his friends “ugly.” Kamara said he saw the victim get punched and then he threw some punches because he thought the victim was running away and had done something to his group. Police say that the video disputes Kamara’s account and showed the victim not running away but instead getting pushed by Kamara, then punched by Kamara’s associate and then Kamara “immediately attacked” the victim, throwing several more punches, according to police. Others in the group allegedly joined the attack, stomping the victim’s face and body.
Based on the surveillance video, witness statements and “Kamara’s admissions” and the victim’s injuries, police say they arrested Kamara for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.

Why aren’t more people talking about this?
Hey all, chiming in for the first time in 10 years to say I like Mike McDaniel. He's gonna be a good coach. Will check back in another 10 years to see if I was right

That's what I suspected..........his extension being his participation ribbon. Doesn't he know that his NFLPA negotiated a 5th year option?I'd assume it's what he's told to do by his agent to get people in Arizona up in arms about the idea of him leaving in an attempt to accelerate a contract extension. Get people calling sports talk in Phoenix and on twitter, etc saying to pay him.
Seems a not uncommon tactic nowadays.
The NFL has told Snyder that an "independent" investigation will be performed by the NFL, not his team..............the proceedings will do the dirty work of ridding the NFL of Snyder...............while trying to sidestep the NFL's part in irresponsibly whitewashing the NFL's obvious attempt at whitewashing facts of the previous "investigation."Dan Snyder has hired the "independent" investigative team, led by former Asst. U.S. Attorneys Bonnie Jonas and Tiffany Moller of Pallas Global Group LLC, to look into allegations made last week by Tiffani Johnston.
If he can’t land a GM job this year there must be something wrong with him.
Maybe he is banned from Chuck-E-Cheese’s and that’s why no one will make him GM.
Wasn't he one & done in the playoffs?Vrabel voted Coach of the Year.
Wasn't he one & done in the playoffs?
Deandre Hopkins, after only missing 2 games in his first 8 seasons, missed 7 games last season for a hamstring, followed by a knee injury. His knee injury was a grade III rupture of his MCL. After attempting some conservative treatment, he has undergone MCL repair.
Don't know if it's either. It was Hopkins own disrespect for his hamstring. Oct 25, he sustained a Grade I hamstring tear, but decided to come back Oct 28, only 3 days following his injury. At that time, he sustained a hamstring injury extension to Grade II. He then rehabbed for only 3 weeks, a very short time for a hamstring re-injury. He returned to play 2 games, at which in the 2nd game, he sustained a total rupture of his MCL. Impatience with a hamstring injury will commonly result in subsequent injury to the lower extremity.Does that speak well of our strength and conditioning coaches?
Or is he just getting old?
Everybody but you?Who knew ?

According to Murray, it's always the "other guy." The Cards aren't going to release or trade Murray.............they'd have to also fire their head coach who is attached to the hip.Wonder who is leaking this
Just yesterday they were seen as revolutionary, forward thinking, & a model of the future of the NFL.According to Murray, it's always the "other guy." The Cards aren't going to release or trade Murray.............they'd have to also fire their head coach who is attached to the hip.
