Name Our Defense

Personally, as many injuries as this team has had, Let The Bodies Hit the Floor by Drowning Pool is absolutely the right call...

I kinda like POD's BOOM cause it says...

Boom! Here comes the Boom!
Ready or not, here comes the boys from the South
Boom! Here comes the Boom!
Ready or not, How you like me now?

Seconded!! Yes please!!

Oh wait. I'm over 40, so I probably don't know who Pantera is (or sadly was).

I think Pantera is entering the "classic" category, in terms of age. I know you old people don't want to admit it, but the '90s were two decades ago. ;)

What does that say about the 60's?

My kids always said I was older than dirt - maybe they are right?

Damn, last week DB calls me a bigot, and now you're calling me homophobic. I'm building quite the reputation for myself. :thumbup

Now, now, you're joking...right? I was using the Websters definition about your point, not calling you an Archie Bunker as an individual.

Hey, what happens in the NSZ stays in the NSZ, right?!! :shades:

I know! Cowboys From Hell is over 20 years old now!!

Well you kind of did, but I wasn't sweating it. I wasn't sweating Say Watt's comment either. And yeah, I was sort of making a joke about it. It's aaaaaall good man. :toast2:

I honestly hate to admit this, but I never heard of these guys either. Grams and I will be in the old person section discussing the Billboards top ten..1962

Damn you, DB!

yeah, I kinda' figure. I just have a hard time ignoring what the song is about, but that's just the way my mind words.

Personally, I think Pantera's "Walk" is an awesome riff and the lyrics can really represent what this D is all about.

Plus, they already have this riff in the rotation, Pantera is from Texas, and they are 100% capitalists.

But I'm partial, so I cannot be objective about this song. :headbang:

p.s. RIP Dimebag...7 years ago tomorrow... :(

No doubt! That song is all about kicking someone's ass! "Walk on home boy!" :wild:

Yep, its crazy that its been 7 years. :(

Not near as "feminine" as Bulls on Parade

In honor of the Christmas season:

Imagine this guy painted like the texans logo, or changing the logo to a reindeer.

I think Bulls of Death and Destruction has a nice ring to it, but I'm kinda' weird that way.

I think Connor Barwin came up with that. I hate it!

...and it was aweful the first time I heard it and it just keeps getting worse and worse. It's like a nightmare, everytime I close my eyes that damn "bulls on parade" thing keeps coming back.

im not tweeting bullsonparade. I hope it doesn't catch on. I'm going low profile on that catch phrase

Yeah...

I think it's official...

No matter how much folks want to fight it or deny it...

The Texans are the Bulls on Parade....

No, they are not. More than that they never will be. No power in the universe can make that retarded nickname stick.

When you've got Barwin shouting it it the rally, it will probably stick :/

Barwin is a heck of a linebacker but will never find employment in marketing or promotions. I'm sure a lot of people at the rally heard and saw him but in the grand scheme of things that doesn't make it a lock.

I'll never use it even if it does catch on. It's just way too gay.

Not that there's anything wrong with that ;)

Also, it's on the Wiki Page

In other media

It is featured in 1998 documentary film Free Tibet.
It is featured in 2001 documentary film Last Party 2000.
Master track is downloadable content for Rock Band and Rock Band 2.
Master track is featured in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock where is unlocked after beating Tom Morello in a guitar battle.
It is the theme song for the defense of the NFL's Houston Texans. The song has been officially endorsed by Texans LB Connor Barwin.[2

I thought that at first...

But I've been hearing it everywhere...everywhere

Lots of folks actually embracing it...

I didn't like the "Texans" at first but it grew on me. Bulls on Parade probably never will but I think it is going to be something forever associated with this team...This era at the least...

It may stick.....FOREVER.....:jogger:

yeah, I agree. I just don't see this fruity little moniker up there with the Steel Curtain or the Wrecking Crew. Its embarrassing.

If it sticks FOREVER then I guess there's nothing to be done but resist using it forever. Lots of folks embrace the WWE but that doesn't make it good.

If it's just the song I'm cool with that. It's not a bad song.

If it's their nickname then..... :vincepalm:

I google searched Bulls on parade....

Nothing Texans related on the first three pages...

On that 4th page though....
