Jets/Texans preseason opener - GAMEDAY THREAD

Re-watch the OD play, please! It was not a drop.

The ball was wide AND too tall. OD leapt and got one hand on it, barely, and Schaub just got excited and put too much on it.

The next pass, KW lost focus and bobbled the 3rd down pass.
 
Better to be rusty now than Week 1. I don't care so much about them not making the plays but that the plays are there. They'll be in sync by the start of the season.
 
Am I drunk and just expecting too much or is there a significant drop off right now in the run game not only b/c Arian is not in there but b/c Vonta is gone at FB?

Just saying.......

OK, hot shot. I recorded and will post it on YouTube tonight. We'll rock it in slow motion and you'll see that it was too wide AND too tall for OD. He freaking leapt off one foot because Schaub put too much on it--Too wide, too tall.

Not everything is a DROP you guys. Come on now. Know the difference.

Uh, he had to leave the ground earlier than he wanted to...because that ball was flying past him WIDE and TALL. I don't think he figured Schaub would miss him that badly. But he did.

I think that would be a 1/2 sack for Watt and 1/2 sack for Mitchell? Or just an assist for Watt and the sack to Mitchell???

He is also a TE so maybe I shouldn't expect so much..... but then again if you get a hand to it.

Our 3-4 looks a lot like last year's 4-3 to me.

I have some mixed feelings. I guess I can handle the inconsistancy on defense right now (assuming they get it fixed) but it gives some game film for wade to go over with and correct some mistakes

2 Sacks in a quarter, if we keep that up we will get 128 sacks on the year.... I could live with that.
