Not a Fleener fan at all. I think he's a pure product of playing with Luck in college/pro. There's a reason Indy chose Allen even though he's always injured.
The Colts have said they want both back.

I wouldn't be shocked if Green gets paid. That might be a tough buy. Not a Fleener fan at all. I think he's a pure product of playing with Luck in college/pro. There's a reason Indy chose Allen even though he's always injured.
If Texans cut Hoyer they would be around $43M in cap space so...
Osweiler - $17M
Miller - $6.5M
Brooks - $8.5M
Total - $32M
Subtract rookie pool from that and it gives them about $5-6M to throw at Green (which is probably the floor of what he will get offered).
EDIT: Obviously there will be more room to work with here as the base salary will be lower in the 1st year of contract. Didn't bother working that in though because there's no way to know how any deal is going to be structured.
Yep,
Miller has been my #1 RB target..

We also have to address backup LT, which we had Clark playing at the end of last year. You can go ahead and give 2-4 million to that cause.
Why? We just re-signed Clark. It's ot unusual to only have 3 where 1 can play swing. We did that several times under Kubiak.
Who is replacing Ben Jones now that he's with the Titans?
Last years undrafted rookie center Greg Mancz is a prospect but would he be ready to play this Fall since he was IRed last year ? Can the X-man be moved to center ?Who is replacing Ben Jones now that he's with the Titans?
going to the chargersTravis Benjamin.
Dolphins have apparently voided Maxwell/Alonso deal with Eagles because of concerns about Maxwell's shoulder. They also rescinded the transition tag from Olivier Vernon.
Those moved take them from about $10M in cap space to about $33M. They should have room to make a move on Miller now if they really want him back.
If I haven't already, I apologize for thinking you were off your rocker. I did not believe Miami would let it get this far, & over a measly $5M at that.
No need to apologize, lots of people around these parts think that I'm off my rocker.

Looks like the deal is still on but the Eagles will get less back in return.
The teams will swap 1st round picks so PHI moves from #13 to #8. That's it.
Miami has been making poor moves for years. They haven't made the playoffs since the 2008 season, before that the 2001 season.Eagles win that trade IMO. Getting rid of one of the worst contracts in the league and moving into the top 10 in return is a fleecing.
I really don't understand what Miami is doing. They're letting their own FA's (Vernon & Miller) walk while going all in on other team's cast offs.
Giants make Janoris Jenkins the 2nd highest paid CB in the league (only Revis is higher) with a 5 yr / $62.5M deal with $29M guaranteed.
Rapoport saying our Plan B is to trade for Kaepernick. Says we have zero interest in Griffin.
And this is why it's smart to sit out day one of FA.
Contact guys, negotiate with them, don't overpay.
I would prefer Kap and a high pick over over paying Osweiler.Rapoport saying our Plan B is to trade for Kaepernick. Says we have zero interest in Griffin.
What are you assuming the Texans would have to give up to trade for Kap?I would prefer Kap and a high pick over over paying Osweiler.

Did you not read the breakdown of Kap's injuries by CnD?Gimme Os in FA, Cook or Lynch in the draft and Savage. I would be very happy with those three on the roster. Let the best QB win!I would prefer Kap and a high pick over over paying Osweiler.
That's the multi million dollar question. Of course I wouldn't want to give anywhere close to what's being reported. What are you assuming the Texans would have to give up to trade for Kap?

Just heard that B.Brooks got $40 mil for five yrs from the EaglesSolid replacement. Not Brooks level but he's a better player than Jones, IMO.
