27(126) 49ers (mussop) -- on the clock 4:00pm - 8:00pm
28(127) Cowboys (infantrycak) -- on deck
29(128) Colts (NCTexan) -- in the hole
30(129) Packers (WolverineFan) --
31(130) Seahawks (bah007) --
32(131) Patriots (bah007) --
33(132) 49ers (compensatory selection) (mussop) --

29(128) Colts (NCTexan) -- on the clock 7:00pm - 9:00am
30(129) Packers (WolverineFan) -- on deck
31(130) Seahawks (bah007) -- PM'd
32(131) Patriots (bah007) -- PM'd
33(132) 49ers (compensatory selection) (mussop) -- in the hole

Colts select Tyeler Davison, DT, Fresno State. They need upfront against the run and he has the size to help. He needs to work on technique and leverage with hand use but it's the 4th round.

I expect these next 9 to go quick. All 9 are by WolverineFan, bah007, mussop, and TPN (PMed His Picks).

The Green Bay Packers select Max Garcia - C/G, Florida

The Packers need depth up front and they love versatile linemen. Garcia is indeed versatile with 17 starts at LT, 13 at Center, and 7 at OG during his career. He played Center as a senior but projects to either OG or C at the next level. He's a mauler at the point of attack and was the only Center prospect at the Senior Bowl to consistently hold his own against Danny Shelton and Carl Davis. I feel like many people are missing the boat on him as a prospect as most have him pegged as a late round pick. Personally, he's my 4th ranked Center prospect in this draft and I think this is the right range for him.

Great heads up, man. Thanks for the info.

With the #130 pick the Seattle Seahawks select...

Justin Cox - CB, Mississippi St

33(132) 49ers (compensatory selection) James O'Shaughnessy

If this guy is available in the fourth round the Texans really need to consider him.

Garcia will be a long time starter in the league. I had him just behind Erving and ahead of Grassu.

Tough guy/leader

Seems like hes way down the list on most peoples rankings. 7th UDFA? Is he that undervalued that he should be taken in the 4th?

Wouldn't say undervalued, just under the radar. Plays at a small school and didn't get a lot of exposure. Only caught 67 passes during his career, but those 67 receptions went for 1170 yards (17.5 ypc) and 14 TD's. He showed out in the playoffs though with 100+ yards and 2 TD's in a win against Northern Iowa and caught 2 TD's in the national title game in a close loss to North Dakota State.

He's starting to get some hype behind him after his Pro Day though. By all accounts he looked excellent in drills and timed very well. With this being a very weak TE class, a guy like O'Shaughnessy could very well go a lot earlier than expected because he is just so much more athletic than most of the other TE's. He was also never really featured at Illinois State so there is some potential there as he was productive when given the opportunity.

15 days, 8 hours until the actual draft guys.

We are currently at pick 138 out of 256.

I dont see us finishing at this rate. We need to utilize the PM system more.

Titans leading passcatcher last year was TE. They need some WR help if they ever want an eventual QB to flourish or Mettenburger to have a chance. The Titans select Vince Mayle, WR, Washington State. While the thumb injury is a bit concerning, in the 5th I think he has decent value even with the slower than expected 40.

Agreed. I understand that folks want to be around to post the pick themselves but it's not always possible.

We haven't had anybody miss a pick in a long while so it's clear that everyone is capable of at least checking the board a couple of times per day.

If you see that you have a pick coming up just PM somebody a list. When the pick comes up I always check to see if that poster is on the board before I post their proxy. If they are around I'll just let them do it. But if they aren't on it keeps things moving to get on to the next pick.

You never know how quickly we can get on a run and go through multiple picks. I send WolverineFan a top ten list for each of my teams every time I know I'm going to be off for a while.

I actually like Gallik better. Both are solid.

Me too. However if your system requires more athletic ability then Garcia is your Center. Grasu is so much better than his peers its not even funny, which is probably why you took him late 2nd. otherwise these prospects seem more like need & system fits.

Agree. Erving and Grasu blow the rest of these guys away.

But guys like Gallik and Garcia could make you very happy in the right situation.

Two hours should be plenty of time, IMO. But I'll leave it up to Blake. The bigger issue is posters not sending out a PM when they know they won't be here for their pick. This is a big issue in the evening because if someone goes on the clock at 7:00 PM they know they still have all night and most of the next morning to make their pick.

The rule was made that way so that people weren't expected to be on the computer late at night or early in the morning. It wasn't made so that you can have extra time to make up your mind on who you want. If we want to finish in time people are going to have to start PM'ing their picks.

Last year, if you didn't have your pick in time Wolverine made one for you. Problem is that people just stopped showing up entirely and he pretty much had to make selections for over half the teams in the final two rounds.

The Redskins still have a lot of holes, but this dude is too good to pass on. Since starting this draft I'm starting to understand the Strong Safety that I grew up with might be getting phased out of the NFL.

So what do you do when the typical strong safety you grew up with becomes a situational player in the NFL? You get undersized bad-A's that are completely versatile and can do almost anything...

This guy has played against the best competition and shows he can do it all. He's got speed to get there, and once he gets there he's not letting you go, "undersized" or not. He's strong enough to press you, and versatile enough to be moved all across the field from press corner, to man corner (might need a little work), to slot corner, to free safety, to strong safety (if it truly is just becoming a better tackling version of the free safety).

With the 141st pick in the NFL draft the Washington Redskins select:

Doran Grant - CB - OSU

I have a great list from TPN, but I already filled Center for him. Not sure if he wants more oline or a defensive pick.
