BL Kelly, Philadelphia Eagles 2015 Mock Draft
1. (20) Eagles (beerlover) -- Jake Fisher, OT, Oregon
Natural plug & fit LG who can also cover either tackle positions, thought this was key to success of my draft & Eagles to protect Sam Bradford & revamped running attack. Reminds me of Logan Mankins when he came out of Fresno State, starting LT who kicked inside & made pro bowl as LG. There exists a huge need on Eagles OL.
2. (52) Eagles (beerlover) -- Damarious Randall, FS, Arizona State
Feel like I got this right, could have flipped Fisher with Randall but felt too many people on this board valued Fisher (OL). Eagles addressed position/need with Rowe instead & traded up to do it.
3. (84) Eagles (beerlover) -- Tony Lippett, WR/CB, Michigan State
Did not go receiver early so this was my answer as well of addressing secondary need @ CB. Lippett went in 5th round to Miami who got a steal, he was Michigan States team mvp.
4. (113) Eagles (from 49ers through Bills) (beerlover) -- Adrian Amos, DB, Penn State
3rd pick addressing secondary so met criteria Eagles viewed. Amos slipped to early 5th selected by Bears (142).
5. (145) Eagles (from Rams) (beerlover) -- Jordan Hicks, LB, Texas
Able to sneak him in here later due to lack of coverage/following which is surprising since he played for the Texas Longhorns. Chip said they targeted him early because he was "their" favorite LB in this draft, so it would seem every team may have reached a little to address this need in a limited class for position.
5. (156) Eagles (beerlover) -- Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina
Addressed slot WR position here with Hardy who went in 4th (107) to Atlanta. Hardy can do everything that Nelson Agholor will now do for Eagles just doesn't have elite speed or playmaking ability. There was a real premium placed on speed @ WR position in this draft.
6. (196) Eagles (beerlover) -- MyCole Pruitt, TE, Southern Illinois
Thought he was perfect fit for Kelly's offense, plus losing Casey. Went off board early in 5th to Vikings (143) so no longer option in 6th rd.
7. (237) Eagles (beerlover) -- Tony Washington, OLB, Oregon
Eagles went DL but interior instead of outside end or OLB here. Tony was undrafted but is now a Houston Texan.

Actual, Philadelphia Eagles 2015 Draft (comments/grades rang)
1 (20) Nelson Agholor, WR, Southern California Height: 6-0 Weight: 198
I like this kid a lot, and he will be perfect for the Chip Kelly offense. They had to get a receiver, so it works here.
B
See logic in this pick, next Maclin proto-type slot wr, but Bradford will need plus protection to get him the ball. Still nice upside, system fit @ position of need.
2 (47)
Eric Rowe. CB, Utah Height: 6-1 Weight: 205
He is one of the most versatile defensive backs in the draft. To go up and get him is a heck of a move by Chip Kelly. I think he can be a star safety, but a lot of scouts love him as a corner.
A+
Yeah, Packers snapped up DeMarious Randall in the first, 30th overall so love this pick as next free safety who can cover. Great kid, work ethic with huge upside that fills need.
3 (84) Jordan Hicks OLB, Texas Height: 6-1 Weight: 236
This is a kid who went to Texas with a ton of talent but had some injury issues. He has the ability to be a good player if he can stay healthy in Philadelphia.
B-
Hicks had a break out season last year for Texas under Strong. Has all the intangibles you look for in a three down LB plus he is smart, hardworker with plus leadership skills, could wind up replacing Kendricks.
4 (113) Detroit acquires a fourth-round pick from Philadelphia for a 2016 third-round pick.
B
Love idea of trading down to acquire day two picks.
6 (191) JaCorey Shepherd, CB, Kansas Height: 5-11 Weight: 199
Instinctual wide receiver to cornerback convert with tremendous ball skills. Limited long speed but has production that´s rare at this point.
A-
Hit secondary again in similar fashion with more refined, ready to go prospect in Shepherd, could be a steal & compete immediately.
6 (196) Randall Evans, CB, Kansas State Height: 6-0 Weight: 195
Another long, productive cornerback with ball skills for Philly. Primarily a slot player who can challenge for a roster spot.
B-
Like I said before, thought this draft was deep in quality DB's (no reason to reach in the 1st) to mirror all these talented WR's coming out. At 60, 195 pounds he ran a 4.4 40 with (you guessed it, the ball skills he compares favorably to Texans CB drafted last year Andre Hall. Evans finished with 64 tackles, four picks, and 10 pass breakups as a senior to earn 1st-team All-Big 12 honors.
7 (237) Brian Mihalik | DE, Boston College Height: 6-9 Weight: 302
Drafted based off size/length at 6-foot-9 and 295 pounds. Underwhelming on tape with very little impact.
C-
One pick I hate, but like Bair (who went undrafted, even tried out of Texans) now solid rotational player, Kelly likes these massive DL. Not much of boom or bust player, just a project.
