TPN can change it if he wants cause he is the next pick too. Giants.

8(144) Giants (The Pencil Neck) -- On the clock 1:36PM
9(145) Eagles (from Rams) (beerlover) --
10(146) Falcons (steelbtexan) --
11(147) Browns (Playoffs) --
12(148) Saints (PHILLYTEXANFAN) --
13(149) Dolphins (from Vikings) (Mollywhopper) --
14(150) Dolphins (Mollywhopper) --
15(151) 49ers (mussop) --

Seems like hes way down the list on most peoples rankings. 7th UDFA? Is he that undervalued that he should be taken in the 4th?

You will be hearing his name more leading up to the draft. IMO he is the second best TE in this draft. I don't see him lasting to our pick in the 5th. With our need at TE I would seriously consider him with our 4th.

Last year, if you didn't have your pick in time Wolverine made one for you. Problem is that people just stopped showing up entirely and he pretty much had to make selections for over half the teams in the final two rounds.

I can tell you that's not happening again. That was a giant pain in my ***.

I'm great with the Gabe Wright pick for the Broncos. I wanted to fill that DT spot earlier but things fell a different way. My other options were OG or grabbing some more DL help. But the DT was my biggest priority at that spot.

Give me a second for the Giants.

With the 144rd pick, the NY Giants select:

th

Trey Flowers, DE, Arkansas

10(146) Falcons (steelbtexan) -- on the clock 2:10pm - 6:10pm
11(147) Browns (Playoffs) -- on deck
12(148) Saints (PHILLYTEXANFAN) -- in the hole
13(149) Dolphins (from Vikings) (Mollywhopper) --
14(150) Dolphins (Mollywhopper) --
15(151) 49ers (mussop) --

Good value. Langford could be an every down back early.

Agree. I think with the right opportunity this dude can do big things. I always thought he was quick at MSU, but didn't realize he was 4.4 quick until the combine.

And you know he has hands cause he was playing WR for a bit too. I think he's got the ability to be one of the few every down backs left in the NFL if whatever team he goes to allows it.

He goes to the Patriots or Saints he's finished though.

Or like in this mock, if he goes to the Raiders I don't know if he's gonna displace Latavius from the brief time I saw of him. If he gets all punch drunk concussioned out again though, it's a different story.

Proxy pick for bah007 via PM...

The Minnesota Vikings select Ibraheim Campbell - SS, Northwestern

What do yall think of this guy? Yall think this is gonna be another one of those situational guys that only work well in the box that are being "phased out" of the game?

I actually think he moves decently well in short areas. I think he can cover from the SS position.

He's not near as good as Collins coming toward the LOS. But he's better moving laterally and backwards.

Not as good on first or second down but better on third. And you can probably live with that in this league.

With the 146th pick in the TT Mock draft the Atlanta Falcons select Corey Robinson- OT, South Carolina 6'7 324 Lbs 5.24.

Robinson is a huge dancing bear. He has very good feet for a man his size. Robinson is a mauler and putting Robinson next to Jackson should mean that Mike Davis should have plenty of room to run, along with keeping Ryan from taking the beating he took last yr.

12(148) Saints (PHILLYTEXANFAN) -- on the clock 3:20pm - 7:20pm
13(149) Dolphins (from Vikings) (Mollywhopper) -- on deck
14(150) Dolphins (Mollywhopper) --
15(151) 49ers (mussop) -- in the hole
16(152) Texans (Blake) --
17(153) Chargers (Blake) --
18(154) Saints (from Chiefs) (PHILLYTEXANFAN) --

Potential 1st round Arizona St WR Jaelen Strong has a fractured bone in his wrist, sources say. Likely needs surgery at some point.

Probably a navicular fracture, like Cushing's.

[Don't usually come into this forum, but thought it may make a difference in mock drafting.

For the Texans angle...

That would be awesome if he could drop to the 2nd round because of this. I like Perriman in theory, but would much rather have some Jaelen long term.

If he does slide, I think he still goes early 2nd before we pick. Just too much to like with Strong.

Wouldn't say undervalued, just under the radar. Plays at a small school and didn't get a lot of exposure. Only caught 67 passes during his career, but those 67 receptions went for 1170 yards (17.5 ypc) and 14 TD's. He showed out in the playoffs though with 100+ yards and 2 TD's in a win against Northern Iowa and caught 2 TD's in the national title game in a close loss to North Dakota State.

He's starting to get some hype behind him after his Pro Day though. By all accounts he looked excellent in drills and timed very well. With this being a very weak TE class, a guy like O'Shaughnessy could very well go a lot earlier than expected because he is just so much more athletic than most of the other TE's. He was also never really featured at Illinois State so there is some potential there as he was productive when given the opportunity.

To add to that, he shows up really well as a blocker. video

Either TE or OG. They traded Graham and Ben Grubbs this offseason and need depth at both spots.

If TE then I would go with Koyack (Notre Dame). If OG then I would go with Mark Glowinski (West Virginia).

good pick! It would seem any team needing to invest in Center position with a chance to start early, can't wait longer than 4th early 5th. This is where they go, fast.

Love the Gallik pick.

Going to be a longtime starter.

Next up...

19(155) Bills (WolverineFan) --
20(156) Eagles (beerlover) --
21(157) Bengals (mussop) --
22(158) Ravens (from Lions) (bah007/WolverineFan) --
23(159) Cardinals (TexansSeminole) --
24(160) Steelers (Lucky) --
25(161) Panthers (RT22) --

Just curious, has anyone looked at past TTalk drafts and seen how they would compare to a 3 yrs later re draft?

How long would the surgery take to recover from?

The answer would parallel the answers I gave for Cushing. See posts #106-116 in this Cushing thread......http://www.texanstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106917&page=8

Did this happen in training or during the season?

Like Cushing, he played through it during last season........and like Cushing, it probably lead to a non-union, which at this point would be highly unlikely to heal without surgical intervention.

Since both Cushing and Strong did not have their fractures repaired within a month of their occurrences, the recovery becomes less predictable.

20(156) Eagles (beerlover) -- on the clock 7:00am - 11:00am
21(157) Bengals (mussop) -- on deck
22(158) Ravens (from Lions) (bah007/WolverineFan) -- in the hole
23(159) Cardinals (TexansSeminole) --
24(160) Steelers (Lucky) -- PM'd
25(161) Panthers (RT22) --

I'm gonna be in the mountains this Friday through Monday so my communication w/ Texans Talk will likely cease during that time frame.

I'm hoping we can get through to my (Skins) pick today, but that means I'll be holding yall back for my 7th. Can yall just give me best Offensive Guard or Tackle available for my 7th?

Pick #156 Chips Eagles select - Justin Hardey, East Carolina

Not overly familiar with this guy and how his game translates to the NFL so I googled him just to read up some more on him.

This was my favorite part:

NFL COMPARISON Ryan Grice-Mullen

lol, who? Definitely doesn't help me. Apparently he was a Texan too (for a brief period in time).

Side Note: Does anyone know why UH never plays East Carolina if they're in the same conference?
