Stroud gets credit for continuing to fight. Definitely shows promise and has a warrior spirit in him. I can’t wait for the other rookie qbs to face top 5 defenses

But why would you ever play him there? It literally makes zero sense. Jones is a tackle by trade. Deiter is a guard/center by trade. Wjhy line the tackle up at guard and the guard up at tackle?

The miscommunication in my mind is Fant going down and them saying, "Deiter you're in" without explaining the re-alignment.

A tale of two halves. Losing Pitre was huge for the defense but they still battled. Offense will hopefully find a way to get in the endzone next week. Expected growing pains with flashes of potential.

Main takeaway is I hope Pitre doesn’t miss significant time.

idk if that was just you giving out good information regarding an injury or directed at me..but I was thinking more along the lines of preseason to start the season....its gonna be a rough time span before they all get healthy and we actually get to play w/ our true starters and see what we have then...
