Preseason: TEXANS vs Saints

Pierce seems awesome, haha.

It's weird how he seems like such an afterthought. I don't get it. Is it because the league doesn't get too attached to RBs anymore because of the contracts? I don't know.

It's because he played for a bad team last year so the media mostly ignored him. That should change this season.

I liked going for it on 4th and 2. Didn't like the play.

I'm sure your great great grandchildren will be thrilled 😄

I'm old enough to remember card shops.. does anyone collect cards anymore?

I collected 30 years ago until the overproduction bust.

Collecting/trading has come back in a big way. Cards on eBay can go for tens of thousands sometimes. An Arch Manning UT card printed this year as a 1 of 1 variation sold for over $100k.

That's stupid money.. like buying stock at it's ceiling and then expecting to turn a profit off of it. That's basically buying Amazon's current stock price when they were just selling books on the internet. Arch hasn't proven **** yet.

Small print runs like 1 of 10 or 1 of 1 always drive up the price. I think Arch's 1 of 1 was a special print because the proceeds went to charity. But some rich guy still really wanted that card.

I saw a Mahomes card going for $150k. It was a short print run with an autograph and a piece of a game-worn jersey embedded in it.

I see some bad aggregate tendencies in the card market right now, so I'm going to make my money off Stroud and Pierce cards and get out. It's still a really fun hobby though.
