I'm a fan of Big Ced. I don't make excuses for A&M's overall poor play in that last three game stretch with Kenny Hill, but it seemed like the entire team gave up on Kenny around that time. There's rumors floating around about possible substance abuse issues that may have led to the team losing confidence in Kenny.
When Kyle Allen came in the next few games, the entire team played much better and rallied around their new QB.
A&M also let the O-line coach go and hired Dave Christensen. I think Ced is very raw but with proper coaching can become a great RT for someone's team.
Hah, was waiting to see if you pulled this off in the 2nd or gambled waiting for the 3rd.
I get why you did what you did, but do you think he will drafted round 2 or round 3 come draft day(s)?
Saints select Utah DE/OLB Nate Orchard
Can't fault going for a new X.
I have an Agholor fetish, but the fans would've boo'd my choice.![]()

Denver Broncos select Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA
PM'd to me.
This is a very interesting take on Kubiak's qb of the future. I think this could really work.
Great pick. My favorite Safety in the draft. He can line up in the slot and play man or he can play zone over the deep half. Great athlete with good ball skills and range. Underrated tackler too. Only downside is he is a tad undersized and has a lean frame that won't carry much more weight. That doesn't really bother me though when you take his ability/skill-set into account. He's not a box player so his size isn't that big of a deal to me.
With pick #57 of the 2nd Rd the Carolina Panthers Select Byron Jones CB Connecticut (6-1, 199, 4.42, rSR)
If you think hr's the best QB in the draft you take him and don't worry about what the draftniks think. (Excluding Winston.) Elway/Kubiak draft him in the 2nd if he falls.
Man, that run on Corners really killed me. I was starting to think one of those three guys was going to make it to New England. And then poof, all of them gone in a flurry.

The Colts select Ali Marpet, OG/OC, from Hobart.
The Colts desperately need o-line help, starting from the inside out. However they have a strong enough team to be willing to take some risks. Marpet is far from a sure thing, but I believe his potential upside helps raise the Colts o-line to a more competitive level. Definitely a risky pick though.
Very talented guy. If he played at Alabama he would be picked in the 1st rd. May take him time to develop though.
He'd be perfect for the Hernandez/flex TE role. Wish the Texans had an extra 2nd round pick to take him.Still worried about Funchess (or Fungus, as my Michigan Football loving father-in-law endearingly calls him) if people put him on the outside. Now if NE sticks him at TE I think he can do some damage.
...Seattle gets their new starting center.

Marpet wasn't going to get to the Colts 3rd round pick in this draft, I can assure you. In the actual draft, maybe. He has a ton of upside, but is a total projection. I think he goes early to mid 3rd in the real draft.I wanted to grab him now cause I like him and I'm high on him, but I thought there might be a legitimate chance he makes it to the Colts 3rd rounder. Where do you think the right spot for him is?
One of you next 2 make this easy on me. And make the picks before 2 if you can.
NCTexan throwing down with a couple of sneaky good picks.

Thanks!
Glad to know you think he wouldn't have made it! I had a hard time predicting everyone else's value of Marpet since he has such a small amount of tape against quality opponents.
