Let's remember Jags have won 4 of 5 with backup tackles, no Blackmon, no real running game and without a dominant pass rusher.

Just so injuries doesn't come up

17/29 for 198 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. 1 carry for 7 yards. Responsible for 10 points.

16/29 for 159 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. 1 carry for 13 yards. Responsible for 10 points.

1 quarter vs 3 while schaub might not be the answer going forward he is the best we've got

I have every confidence that if that happened Marciano would be
named interim HC

I'd much rather see Marciano as interim coach instead of Wade. Too many 1st/2nd round picks to give up 27.5 points to the Jags over 2 games. They're the worse offense in football gaining 174 yards a game (281 tonight) & average 14 ppg over the season.

We should play all 3 QBs. Case starts, Yates middle relief, Schaub closes it out. Championship.

We could and probably should be 0-13

It could easily go the other way, too. We lost by 1 against KC, 3 against Indianapolis, 3 against Arizona, 5 against Oakland, 3 against New England, 4 against Jacksonville, 7 against Jacksonville.

That's coaching right there.

This team is so much better than this....we gonna lose twice to the jags.....wow....gary's so outta here....at least i have that to look forward to.......:hurrah:

I really think that's part of the problem. They don't think they're as bad as they've been playing. They find someway to make themselves think they're going to win the game mid-way through the 4th qtr.... & choke.

WOW! Incredibly damning if you ask me. This tells a story
about Gary's "system" bigtime.

Plug-and-play mediocrity! (doesn't matter who)

3 and 1 run for Tate that failed

Penalty in the red zone the drive before that put us 1st and 20

Matt's pick

All killed us right at the end

Yes it is.

This is disgusting

BoB still keep Rick/Gary?

Hey Dale check your PM box for my mailing address.

I'm looking forward to taking my wife out to dinner on you.

Thanks for the night out.

Did the Oilers come back to town? That was bad....

real bad

Just for the bridgewater fans:

Former Heisman hopeful Teddy vs. Cincy
23/37 255 6.9 3 1 82.5

True Freshman 18 y/o John O'Korn vs. Cincy
13/30 171 5.7 1 0 6.9

So your first round pick of Mr. Bridgewater
gets you 80 yards on 7 extra attempts
and 1.2 extra yards per attempt than
a first year college QB with one year of
HS starts who had a really bad game..

Oh, and Teddy threw a pick while John didn't
(actually, that might make him a better fit here..)

I'll pass.. (to the second round at the EARLIEST)

Yep, except Bridgewater led his team to an OT victory. I'll take clutch factor, thanks.

17/29 for 198 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. 1 carry for 7 yards.
Sacked twice for -28 yards. Responsible for 177 yards.
Responsible for 10 points.

16/29 for 159 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. 1 carry for 13 yards.
Sacked once for - 6 yards. Responsible for 166 yards
Responsible for 10 points.

Edits above to include sack yardage lost. Neither is the answer.

BTW - all the Bridgewater over Clowney talk reminds me of the David Carr over Julius Pepper talk. That choice didn't turn out so well...and #3 Joey Harrington wouldn't have been good either. I hope history doesn't repeat itself...but at least we have a little better O-line than back in year 1...

Bridgewater has a top 25 team around him.

O'korn didn't and still only lost by 7 to Cincy.

Bridgewater is NOT Luck. If people start thinking
he is, then we (as a team) will be doomed to
another half-decade of average QB play with
a wasted first round pick.

Teddy is worth a #2, but our problems are WAY
deeper than QB

I have to look at some more game tape before I can come to a more definitive opinion about his skill set...ect but that is just not how you evaluate a QB. That would be like conducting a clinical trial using one patient.

Tonight's losing excuse is officially Its on Me. Those were Kubiak's words at the post game press conference....I have no idea why this man hasn't been fired yet.

We already have a couple threads about this?

No he absolutely does not. He's the main reason that team has sniffed the rankings the last 2 years.

You are correct on your point about Luck though. No he isn't Luck. But how many guys are? You can't just sit around and wait for that guy to come along.

"It's on me"

Well someone scrap that crap off of him, so it won't
be on him for the next game.

seriously. OF COURSE ITS ON YOU GARY! YOU AND
RICK ARE THE REASON WE ARE IN THIS POSITION

Got it...

While I would hardly consider the exchange we had an official bet.... Umm, I can't justify not taking some financial responsibility for this unmitigated disaster of a season. I have never been so wrong about anything in my life, I don't think. Give me a couple weeks, but I'll get it to you. You earned it- or, at least, I deserve it.

Louisville is #2 in total defense in the NCAA. They have been
ranked all season. UH isn't in the top 50 in total defense.

He is NOT the "main" reason. He is a good college QB, but
he isn't 1st round material. Just like the other poster said,
we ended up with Carr and not Peppers.

Lets not do that again. If he's there in the second, then
that's different

Virginia Tech is #3 in total defense. Bowling Green is #7. Cincinnati is #8. Do they all have top 25 talent as well?

The reason they've been ranked all year is because they have the reigning conference player of the year starting at QB and they beat #3 Florida in the Sugar Bowl last year, where Bridgewater dropped 266 yards and 2 TD's on the #3 defense in the country.

I'm not advocating him as the most talented prospect in the draft. But you're blind if you don't think he's the main reason for Louisville's success. That #2 defense gave up 428 yards tonight and needed (2) 4th quarter TD passes from Bridgewater to get to OT.

We did. His name was Mario Williams. We let him go homie.
