To answer your question with others
Would any of the other 11 playoff teams trade their coach for ours?
Which of the eight teams that fired a coach would consider BOB an upgrade?
Of the 12 teams remaining how many of those coaches are "same dog different fleas?"
(and I post from the idea of acceptance that BOB will be the coach for at least a couple of years longer)
7 points.
Another question. How many teams looking for a HC right now would be high on hiring BOB if he were fired tomorrow? I don’t think there would be one.
Great. Let someone else deal with that ****.Lo
yeah, you're delusional if you don't believe so then. If guys like Jim Caldwell, Jim Mora Jr and Jack Del Rio can get multiple opportunities BoB would have another job in no time.
I think they are going to hire an O.C. and then just see what happens. To answer your question with others

Lol all trash head coaches.Lo

For me the most disappointing thing is this is OB’s 5th year, and he still has this dumpster fire of an O-line...and the fact that he’s not a good OC. I hope an actual OC is hired this offseason and they use their first 3 or 4 draft picks on the o-line.
Just my guess. I really don’t see him being fired. Who would it be for?Are your thoughts on based on information or a hunch?

It would be inhouse and mostly semantics if it happens. Purely a buffer for next season if things go bad on offense. Prepare the scapegoat.
Smart for him. Bad for us.
What the hell is this thinking? Sacrifice the goat now, by firing his dumb ass. Get a coach that might produce for this team. Why the heck must we waste one more season.
Powda you lost your mind, you gonna squander one more season. As BOB squandered this season........ and the 4 season that he has been coached,
He coached Penn state............. and yelled at brady once............ WTF has this guy done that he cant be fired?
We have some renowned front with watt Clowney and mercilous.
Watt is coming off injury.
Clowney has literally realized a fraction of his talent. If he had half the technique or effort of watt he'd be rewriting record books. This dude- damn - a physical freak who just plays hard enough for a check. And we are about to pay him.
Mercy? He had a solid season a few years ago. Otherwise a bust. Not noteworthy.

He's the absolute worst kind of coach you could ever hope for..just good enough to stay employed... Marvin Lewis 2.0O'Brien has major issues as a head coach for sure but I just don't see anybody worth making a change for, would probably bring in another Macadoo type dude that would just set the franchise back another 10 years. Might as well stick with him another year. If they don't make a push to at least AFC Championship next year he has to go. To me he's like another Dennis Green, solid head coach will have some great regular seasons because of the great talent he has at his disposal but will always get outclassed against the big dogs in the big games.

Agree with that. For me the most disappointing is that the defense couldn't get a stop when their life depended on it
Again, this is the same guy who thought it was a good idea to get rid of fitz and being in Brian Hoyer.
I’ll always hold that against him.

Y’all Gotta chill nobody we draft is gonna do what Clowney does. Yes he makes bone head mistakes sometimes but hell the entire defense shows they all do. Clowney literally disrupts offensives lines. He’s not the best pass rusher but definitely a good one and we already know what he does against the run. I’ll never understand why he gets such a bad rap our fan base.Man, I wonder if bust is the right description.....maybe scheme plays a bigger part. I wouldn't part with Watt since he had a hell of a rebound season. As for Clowney and Mercilus......my biggest concern, they're playing for a paycheck and once it's given they'll regress on the field or find reasons to be on injured list. I think both Clowney and Mercilus are expendable and their replacements can be found in the draft. Remember, both of these guys were DE's in college and converted to OLB's by the Texans.

The series that turned the game was when we were behind 21-0 and we had 4th and 2 inside their ten and Watson threw a bad pass into the end zone. It was a horrible play call when a first down would have kept the drive going.
Garett has more playoff wins than O’Brien. Let that sink in.Trust me, CowboyFan absolute hates Garett's (his OC's) playcalling

I definitely understand what your saying. What would be a deal that you’d offer him that would benefit both sides? He knows he ain’t getting that type of money. He and his agent are going to demand #1 NFL EDGE money or more. He's not that player and may not have the desire or inner-drive to be that player. Rather than lock up any money on this guy, I'd trade him for picks and based on this years defensive talent in the draft.....yeah, I think the Texans could find his replacement for a rookie contract that spans 4 years.

He would be hired within a week if not sooner. The same statements were made about Kubiak.
So why would anyone else give up their pick for him?
B/c that's what NFL owners and GM's do.....confound us with their decisions. Clowney has trade value and it only matters to Cal and Gaine as to what they determine his trade value to be.
Great stat - but it omits the fact that several teams have not even made it to the postseason twice in the last ten years.

The point is that at least we made it to the postseason twice in the last ten years whereas several haven't.How is that omitted? It's definitional in "playoff game."
