    dropping passes

AJ dropped some passes he probably should have caught but I recall a couple that should have been impossible that he managed to pull in with those huge hands of his. John Stallworth dropped his share for the Steelers too but......I rest my case. Ragone wasn't a ball 'o fire but he stood his...

If everyone stays healthy, how will we fare?

9-7 or 10-6 and getting at least a wildcard slot but as I write this, there's something back there that tells me the Colts and Tutones are going to crater making the division a race between us and the Jags. How bout a 4 way tie ?

Davis says he can do 2000 yards

DD is a winner and says he's out to prove last year was no fluke, but more importantly win games. Great attitude. I see DD hitting 1200-1500 yds. and Hollings getting 800-1000.

    Marcus Coleman's House

Box You simply feel into the trap the fine folks at Fox set up. The media is famous for finding something, anything they think will get us riled up when a high profile individual is involved. Jeez, where would you live if you made that kind of money ? If you wanna get riled, look at Fox. Your...

    Stacey Mack

Between Mack and Wells, I would resign Mack. I expected more from Wells both years and have come to the conclusion he's just mediocre even on special teams where with Mack he can usually get the 1-3 yards that's needed. Of course there's always the cap and I don't know how much either would count.

    Carr

I don't care if it's football or the way one approaches their job, you have to set the bar higher than what might be realistic. I have no doubt Carr and the rest of the team will have a good year, a winning season, and at least a wildcard spot. As has been pointed out, Carr has the arm as well...

    Marcus Coleman's House

I wouldn't be so quick to complain about how much money Coleman makes or the luxury he lives in. It's not like he's the only well paid athlete out there. I've thought for a long time that they are all over paid and the price of a ticket is nutz. But so are concert tickets that can rake in...

who is the texans most hated/rivaled team????

Dallas is easy to hate for more reasons than just the Cowboys. The city is nothing more than a home for self centered, egotistical, L.A. wanna bes'. I have nothing against the Titans team except that they are division rivals with the exception of one fat, rug wearing blackmailer. On a...

    When does Carr's contract expire?

It almost goes without saying that Carr made improvements over his first season. I've felt for a long time that athletes get paid way too much money but to stay competetive we have to stay in the game. As for picking up Carrs' contract after 2005, I'm in complete agreement with AJs' last words."...

Who will win the AFC South?

Colts TEXANS Jags Titans Yep, you heard it right. Titans at the bottom of the pile. Way too early to make a realistic prediction but they look good last in the division. I can already hear the flamers calling for Fischers' head.

Is JJ going to be looking for a new team?

JJ did OK in my book with his returns and can change direction on a dime giving us good field position most of the time. I remember a couple of runbacks that should have been TDs' but he just ran out of gas. I don't recall him lining up at WR but finding a return man that can do double duty...

Closing the gap in the AFC South (PFW)

Yep, good read, but nothing we didn't already believe. This division could concievably be a 4 horse race. Although the pros might still think of the Colts and Tutones as the powerhouses and division winners, I feel secure in at least a wild card spot, even at this early date.

    Its Time

I agree that most Rbs' have to get into a groove and get better as the game goes on, but I couldn't help but see visions of #34 last year. The Oilers depended on Earl way too much even though he punished the last man to get to him as much as the first. I'm not saying I see the TEXANS doing the...

who do you think will win Detroit vs. Texans

The Lions show definite signs of improvement but so have our TEXANS. I'm not going to predict a score but I don't think I'm stepping out too far in predicting a TEXAN win. Should be a good game. Whoa, I though I'd never say that about a game that included the Lions !

    Palmers last stand

At first glance, 3rd and 23 seems an obvious passing down. It's obvious to defenses too. You could almost count on one hand the number of varied offensive plays we ran in the first year. It opened up a bit more last year and I fully expect the guys to get near the back of the book this time around.

All NFL exhibition games on TV

I've been able to deal with countless price increases and more than enough home shopping channels provided by TWC, but I may have to jump ship soon if they persist in their exclusion of NFL Network. Us lowly souls that still subscribe to TWC depend on you that get it so please continue to allow...

    NFL Highlight Films

I remember seeing an NFL Yearbook at the beginning of last season on the Bengals. It must have taken the fine folks at NFL Films countless hours to come up with enough good footage to fill an hour.
