I think Cushing is on maternity leaveIs Cushing on the team still? LoL
Still's price just went way-way-way up if the Texans suddenly need him.Bring stills back lol. J/k.
Something isn’t right about the timing. The league would have made the team fully aware of the process. Texans cut Stills now because they don’t want him representing their team, so made sure it happened before this came out so it seemed less egregious.Still's price just went way-way-way up if the Texans suddenly need him.
Should help the TE's as well. Hope they're up to the opportunity.Well KeKe Coutee just went from the dog house to the penthouse.. In this wasted season Im atleast excited to see what he can do.. Much bigger role/opportunity for him now.
Exactly what I was thinking. No wonder the dude hasn’t been injured yet.
It's not like the team was going to the playoffs anyways.Man this is a big blow to this offense.
Doc, I know you know your stuff on this but this article says under the current CBA it’s 6 games for first offense (upped from 4 with the previous CBA)For a 6-game suspension, it was not his first "encounter" with PEDs.
Will Fuller is a doo doo head! Team doctors right there with the team and he uses another doctor? At least team doesn't have to pay him? Now that he is not protected by Watson as one of his guys can we get anything for him? Some team might not want to go up against other teams in free agency.
Well some of us still want to watch football for wins anyway. It's not like the team was going to the playoffs anyways.
So no big loss.
What does winning accomplish now?Well some of us still want to watch football for wins anyway.
Just the competitive me. I don't like sloppy w's either. I get your point on Cal but just not way I'm put together. What does winning accomplish now?
I'm the type of guy that never wants to lose at anything. But if not winning destroys Cal's illusion that this is a good football team then that's a good thing.
We’re back to unwatchable football in Houston.Man this is a big blow to this offense.
He’s been having hamstring problems since he got here. Never before. I’d go to an outside doctor. Will Fuller is a doo doo head! Team doctors right there with the team and he uses another doctor?
We went 4-12 & he gave the HC an extension & eventually promoted him. I don’t think losing has the effect on Cal you think it does. But if not winning destroys Cal's illusion that this is a good football team then that's a good thing.
I don’t really believe that nonsense about a doctor. These guys know what’s going into their bodies. And I am sure they get advised by teams all the time about making sure a substance is approved or not. From what I've read, it is not hard to verify if a specific drug or supplement is allowed by the NFL.
This is ALL on the player. His career, his responsibility. Only a chump would blame the doctor.
Absolutely the first thought I had when I heard the news.No wonder the dude hasn’t been injured yet.
I know Cal or for that matter Bob McNair could care less about winning as long as the cash register keeps on ringing. We went 4-12 & he gave the HC a promotion & eventually promoted him. I don’t think losing has the effect on Cal you think it does.
Opens the question of why he didn’t bring it to the team doctor as well. Even if just to ask “Is this stuff legal?” then he could at least say the age and told him it was fine. Hell I have to report any medication I get put on to work and I don’t work at a place that has the strict rules the NFL does. He knew exactly what he was doing which is why he went to a doctor that would give him what he wanted. From what I've read, it is not hard to verify if a specific drug or supplement is allowed by the NFL.
This is ALL on the player. His career, his responsibility. Only a chump would blame the doctor.
After everything that's happened this year, misplaced enthusiasm is actually refreshing at this point. As the Texans March towards the playoffs they will need to bring up a WR from the practice squad. Also, don't forget JJ caught a TD pass last week.
