I would take that penalty

I don't think a team is allowed to turn around and accept the penalty after declining. Think he expected them to punt at midfield in that situation and was surprised when Hackett chose to go for it.

No coincidence the offenses look horrible first week of the season with new CBA rules on player participation in offseason activities in recent years.
