Week 17 Game Thread: Texans vs Titans

the look on Vrabel's face during the game is the highlight of my day
I dunno, I quite like Vrabel and I liked the effect he had on our team while he was with us, it jars with my hatred of the Titans. Watching Tim Kelly squatting in ****-in-the-woods position whilst calling an offence that can’t run Derrick Henry or get D Hop open makes me thankful he’s not wearing Texans gear anymore, obvious he was a big part of the problem.

Well, yeah. He was learning when he was here. One year under BO'b after a year coaching TEs, before that he was coaching defense. Then one year under Culley.
I dislike watching the E-P offence, I dunno if that’s because it was never run effectively whilst we were using it, but to my mind Fitzpatrick was the most effecting I’ve seen running it and he’s about as intelligent as you’ll get but lacked high end talent, and that speaks volumes to me, both Hoyer and Mallet had spent years in the system and couldn’t run it effectively, Watson seemed to only make plays after the called play had broken down, seemed to offer very little on-schedule and that meant that we wasted Watson’s rookie contract. Kelly was coaching a team that should have been in its superbowl window but fell well short.

You don’t know that. Demeco has these guys playing their ass off! If the Texans get in as the 7th seed, we get who…. AFCE? I’ll take my chances against the bills or the fish. The fish are fools gold
Hope you're right. The Dolphins didn't look worth a flip today so there's that. Also you may be right in regards to the Bills. Let's hope our defense can show that they can get consistent pressure on opposing opponents QBS like they did in today's game. I fear our secondary will get exposed if not.

Also the O line needs consistency as well.

When our team is at their best they can beat a lot of teams. They just need to bring it more often. Of course Ithat could be said for many other teams as well! All there is left to say is Go Texans!

The E-P offense can be great. That's Tom Brady's and Drew Brees' offense.

But it can also suck. As we've seen up close.

It's not so much about the offense as it is about the people running it, from the coordinators to the players.

We just needed more shotgun runs up the middle and we could have been unstoppable.

Ce n'est pas un mauvais travail. Surtout si tu est pres de la campagne.

I wish I had kept up my French studies after college but no one in central Texas speaks the darn language.
You should go to the casinos every so often. Bunch of people on that side of the river think they speak french (little f).

Not really been involved much in this game thread, can’t remember a game that went to plan this much for the Texans, a pleasure to watch, the real test is next week, of course, but they’ve made short work of this Tennessee team and chalked up a winning season which is quite an achievement given the events of the previous 4 years.
Still need one more to get to 10 wins.

This post actually blows my mind. Why on earth would you visit a website for the first time and input your credit card information? Especially a website that is illegally streaming NFL games?

Wow. I'm just shocked that in this day of age of so many internet scams, a person would read about an unknown website for the first time and provide their credit card number without even protecting themselves by using a virtual credit card for one time use and expiration date. Just wow!!

FYI: Please be careful. This is also the season for the Publishers Clearing House scam:

Well brother we know some people can get extremely happy with a product and do what I call a desperate act. Snakeeyes wanted to see that game at all cost.

YouTube nfl ticket is horrible. Directv was much better. Just got too expensive

I would not give Youtube one red cent for reasons best not mentioned.

I've been a Directv customer for several years and some years occasionally got free Sunday Ticket which was nice. Really enjoyed having other options besides the mandatory Cowboy game in the afternoons....

There's not any game I want to see live bad enough to pay that kind of money for either. I will either watch it streamed free if not broadcast or watch it a day or so later streamed free

So they should just lay down like a bunch of sissies? K. got it.

:hankpalm::mancard:
I expect them so show up and try to win. However they need to be consistent and not let Qb's who have struggled all season long look like the next coming of Tom Brady or any other elite Qb! That and the Offensive line needs the same consistency and not make average to good defensive lines look better than what they are.

When everybody is inspired "both coaches and players," our team can beat a lot of good teams but we have to be prepared. I think coach Ryans will have us ready to play so disregard my negative post. I am just conditioned to expecting less as opposed to more. Hopefully that will change starting against a good Colts team next week!

I was pleasantly surprised and happy to see Anderson's limited game snaps (only 23%) translate into sacks. With that said, the Titans have one of the most pathetic excuses for an Oline I've seen in a long time.

not if your mexican american. South Texas New Years day tradition menudo dish in our family. THe band Menudo not menudo is the last thing on our mind. Black eye peas are also a tradition northern dish New Year s Day
I know all about black eyed peas. Sorry for my insensitivity in finding it funny.

I know Menudo the band is the last thing on your mind. Let badboy know how you feel. I am sure he meant no offense and it is likely he would apologize.

Insensitive is not a monoply of yours

Wow you really stuck it to me. As opposed to making it a teaching moment just attack the person who apologized.

I am surprised you didn't call me a racist. That is par for the course.
WOW! You totally misread/misunderstood my comment

Would I be more clear if I said you are not the only one to make comments that others find insensitive?
