Week 1: Texans vs Colts Gameday Thread

I think the refs royally screwed the pooch. First off, when there is a review, the clock goes to when the play ended on the field, so it should have been back to 14-15 seconds, also, the Colts called timeout and then the clock was adjusted. So the clock shouldn't have started running when the ref blew the whistle. The Colts got helped twice and we were caught off guard. Just a cluster **** by the refs.

Yes, the refs blew the clock. Yes, Demeco blew the play. Even with 5 seconds and the clock stopped you cannot run a play in 4 seconds and leave 1 sec on the clock for a FG. We just left 3 points on the field due to clock mismanagement.

If the spike didn’t count then the ref had it right, putting 15 seconds on the clock. But for some reason they listened to the Colts crying. Therefore the refs screwed it up.

The Colts had called a TO to continue the discussion and in NO WAY should the clock start until the ball is snapped. Big **** up on the refs part….

Colts had one of the incredible plays Richardson is capable of but that's all they've gotten so far.

they only converted one 3rd down the whole game last time we played them. Richardson picked up 3 of them by himself so far.

At the half against the Saints.. Bryce Young is 6 of 12 for just 50 yards and a INT. Regardless of how the rest of our game goes we definitely dodged a bullet there.

This should definitely be a huge discussion point league wide on what the eff that was and how it should be correctly done because I'm still completely baffled.

Obviously Texans should have had their field goal unit out there but everything else was beyond a mess.

This team has responded well to adversity and tough situations in the recent past, I expect the Texans to bounce back strong in the 2nd half. LFG!!!!!!

Best development today is 9/55 for Mixon. That’s roughly 6 yards per carry. That’s big time guys. Line is opening holes…and we actually have a RB that reads them, and is physical as hell to boot. If we get even close to those numbers going forward the run game will go from a weakness to a big strength, and this offense will roll once we get some of the early kinks worked out.

No thats just great vision in this system that Mixon has and Pierce doesnt.
