They did so that means to clock should start when the ball is snapped. Still should have had the FG unit out there.

Why set it to 5 and running? We spiked the ball with 5 left and they said that play didn't count.

I think the refs royally screwed the pooch. First off, when there is a review, the clock goes to when the play ended on the field, so it should have been back to 14-15 seconds, also, the Colts called timeout and then the clock was adjusted. So the clock shouldn't have started running when the ref blew the whistle. The Colts got helped twice and we were caught off guard. Just a cluster **** by the refs.

Clock mismanagement on the Texans the entire drive. They ran one too many times, and didn’t have enough urgency with only two timeouts. Then they manage to get into range for a FG and that entire sequence was a total flustercuck. That could easily be the difference in this game.
Ryans also mismanaged the two point conversion. That early, take the near sure thing with the extra point. That’s 4 potential points left on the field.

Yeah going to replay after we spiked the ball is bs. Then they don't add a couple seconds back onto the clock so we have time for another spike is another bs thing. Although Stroud was in the shotgun like he thought we had 15 seconds or something. So maybe he was confused how much time was left?

Colts had one of the incredible plays Richardson is capable of but that's all they've gotten so far.

I’m almost positive that those four missed points will come back to bite us in the arse. Especially after they run the hell out of AR on the second half since we can’t stop him. Why risk him throwing another pick or potential pick six when they can keep slashing us with their run game? I hope I’m wrong.

They wiped the TO off didn’t they? Because Steichen argued his case that the game clock was wrong. Which I believe is not within the rules but I believe that’s what they did.

Best development today is 9/55 for Mixon. That’s roughly 6 yards per carry. That’s big time guys. Line is opening holes…and we actually have a RB that reads them, and is physical as hell to boot. If we get even close to those numbers going forward the run game will go from a weakness to a big strength, and this offense will roll once we get some of the early kinks worked out.
