Undisciplined

They suspended Azeez for previous actions.

Runyan wrote. "Your continued disregard for NFL playing rules puts the health and safety of both you and your opponents in jeopardy and will not be tolerated."
Which there were unsportsman like penalties flags and fines before the Chicago game. It’s a pattern. Not sure why this is so hard for you to accept.

You lie and that says enough about you that the rest of your drivel is ignored
Then where is your answer? Where did you acknowledge this hit was illegal? I’ve seen you suggest to penalize the QB for the late slide. But nothing on the hit.

So you agree with me that the NFL can suspend players for penalties they don’t receive flags on. Thats the point.

You want to know what’s not a pattern? The way the NFL hands out its suspension and discipline.

Not sure why this is so hard for you to accept.

You’re gaslighting. Because he has received multiple flags for past instances. And fines. You won’t ever admit it though. He’s rightfully suspended as he should be. He’s fortunate it’s not more games.

You don’t even know the definition of gaslighting! lol.

And you don’t know how to stay on topic.

You veer off on different topics in every conversation.

Bottom line is he is suspended and is now continuing to show that he is undisciplined. Great locker room Demeco.

His posts tonight are cringe worthy. The one on Twitter is downright bizarre.

And then he wonders why people (outside of the Texans and hardcore fanbase) have turned on him?

His agent and PR people need to reach him before he does even more damage to his reputation.

He's already done massive damage to his own rep, with the Texans being collateral damage, aided by Meco and Tricky Nicky. Now, he's trying to throw some TNT onto the inferno that he himself created.

I've already said what I'd do - he'd be off my team, no doubt about it. But if you're going to keep him - live with the consequences and quit pouting and whining about it Nick. Man up already.

More whining.

Kareem had priors. A particular flagrant penalty fined several times. After the third he was suspended.

No one would think it makes sense to suspend Barnett for a late hit out of bounds one week because he slapped a helmet three weeks ago.

Previous fines doesn't constitute "priors" in this case.

For the repeated violations, Jackson was suspended for 4 games twice last year..........the first suspension was reduced to 2 games.............the 2nd 4 game suspension stood.

Broncos S Kareem Jackson suspended second time for repeated violations of player safety rules

Published: Nov 20, 2023 at 06:33 PM

Kareem Jackson has been suspended for a second time in as many months for repeated violations of playing rules intended to protect the health and safety of players.

The NFL announced Jackson's latest suspension for four games on Monday in light of the Denver Broncos defensive back lowering his helmet to hit Minnesota Vikings quarterback Joshua Dobbs in Sunday night’s Broncos win.

NFL vice president of football operations Jon Runyan issues the suspension and, in a letter to Jackson, wrote:
"With 13:38 remaining in the first quarter, you were involved in a play that the League considers a serious violation of the playing rules. The video of the play shows that you lowered your head and made forcible contact to Vikings quarterback Josh Dobbs. You had an unobstructed path to your opponent and the illegal contact could have been avoided.

"Illegal acts that are flagrant and jeopardize the safety of players will not be tolerated. The League will continue to stress enforcement of the rules that prohibit using your helmet to make forcible contact with your opponent. On the play in question, you lowered your head and delivered a forceful blow to the shoulder and head/neck area of an opponent when you had time and space to avoid such contact. You could have made contact with your opponent within the rules, yet you chose not to."

The hit that NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported earlier Monday was being investigated saw Jackson lower his head and launch into a scrambling Dobbs, clipping the quarterback in the chin. No flag was thrown on the play.

Sunday was Jackson's first game back from his previous suspension, handed out after a Week 7 game against the Green Bay Packers for violating unnecessary roughness rules. That was also a four-game suspension but it was subsequently reduced to two games following an appeal.

Now he's got this insecurity complex garbage with his dumb posts.

How embarrassing. But typical and expected from people who believe in the **** he does.

Learning more about his response to this situation is way more indicative than the hit itself.

Harms our team's reputation too. Dumb.

What a jabroni.

Yeah, but today's NFL sucks and is inconsistent at best when it comes to handing out punishment.

The Chiefs getting away with damn near killing somebody as an example. Reid's son parlyzing a youg girl for life and nothing happens to the Chiefs org.
Crazy thing the one handing out these punishments was one of the dirtiest players in the NFL. And they also have someone from the Titans brass in that office too.

It was strictly personal

They could not review it because it wasn’t called a penalty as the ref missed the play. This was discussed in the broadcast of that game.
They could have fined him even if it wasn't called. If they're talking about the "integrity of the game" & whatever nonsense Runyan spat out, they'd have fined him even though it wasn't called.

You’re just following Demeco and Nick. A follower. Just do what you’re told and tow the line.

I must have missed where DeMeco & Nick totally excused Shaair for the hit. I'm pretty sure Nick at least is arguing from a stance of consistency. Three games vs one. Which I agree with.

I stand corrected. More or less.

Still, his first suspension was reduced to two games. Three games for Al-Shaair is inconsistent.

More excuse making in here than a HS girl coming home late from her date with smeared lipstick and her blouse on backwards. But Daddy, it was all his fault. I am as white and pure as the wind driven snow.

Indeed

This thread is really getting out of control. In the game day thread I was actually arguing that the hit was bad and could have been avoided. I immediately though he'd get ejected. But 3 game suspension is insane.

Some of you really need to check your moral superiority complex before logging onto the forum. It makes your arguments a lot less convincing when you look down on the rest of us from your fake moral high ground. And to compare this to a HS girl getting raped is completely out of bounds.

Not being able to admit the hit was illegal is what many here are unable to do. 3 games is nothing.

You aren’t reading people’s posts then. Or making things up. Not surprised.

People here have said they expected a 1 game suspension for the hit.

If you are finding reading difficult you could find help with a program called ABC Learning.
If people really expected 1 game for THAT hit and reaction they might as well still believe in Santa Claus. Maybe should have tempered your expectations.

Ok hold up. Who said anything about a girl being raped? Talk about a leap. I'm talking about a "goodie two shoes" girl (at least to her unsuspecting parents) who goes on a date and does the dirty deed but then comes home not realizing she's not put all back together and blames the boyfriend when she was the instigator and wanted it worse then he did. She's pointing fingers, playing the victim, and not taking the blame. Where you come up with rape from is beyond me, but that's a serious allegation so I wanted to set the record straight. At not one single moment was I alluding to rape. Good Lord!

It's called an analogy, but since you are too apparently dense to understand it, let me be more direct. Azeez did the dirty deed, and instead of taking full responsibility and vowing to be better for it, is playing the victim card bigtime while pointing fingers at everyone but himself, and running and whining to his two parents (Nick and Meco) saying Mommy and Daddy please it's all those nasty Jags fault. I'm so innocent and pure; protect me, Daddy. I am the victim here. Nobody likes me because I'm a black Muslim. Oh woe is me, maybe I should be the Joker because nobody understands me.

Weak. Ass. ****.
