Play calling is dictated most heavily by what you have to work with at QB. They would never run that JJ Watt run play if we had a real QB. Embarrassing.

I'm not going to make an arguement that Weeden is better than Hoyer. But I feel if you switch him in for the third you'll be able to sell the defense on "Hey, this second half is a new game, keep kicking butt out there" instead of "I really need you guys to make up for Brians mistakes"

You came in late. My point is / was is that we need a huge upgrade at qb. We need a quality vet (not a stop gap ) and a young qb with upside.

O'Brien, Godsey, and Hoyer earned it.

Our inability to score on offense has prevented the special teams from giving up another kick off return for a TD.

O'Brien made another mistake by saying he made a mistake in pulling Hoyer in the opener. Hoyer stunk and deserved to be pulled. Just like today. This game is just too big for him.

All and all, I'm still not upset at this game. This season has far exceeded my expectations, and many of us have been resistant to the Hoyer acquisition. The coaches had to pull the wildcat out of their butts midseason to try to do something with the offense. I know alot of people are mad about the JJ Watt run play but to me that shows more that BoB has more confidence in JJ Watt making something happen on offense then he does with Brian Hoyer
