The Official Half Assed Chiefs @ Texans Wildcard Playoffs Gameday Thread

He might just throw those 5 interceptions today. This SOB is the single worst guy I've ever seen play this game.

seeing Hoyer and Godsey together reminds me of "why don't y'all put your heads together and make an @$$ out of yourself"

If BOB lets Hoyer back in the game that just tells us that we are not playing to win cuz this is ******* ridiculous

Defense tired, about to break. Their will is shrinking. Not getting anything from offense and they keep giving them the ball.

Weeden is not going to miraculously turn things around. He is even less mobile
than Hoyer and we are without Duane Brown.

We are throwing way too much. Should have spent more time during the week
working on exotic run packages..

I think I have never seen a worse half of a quarterback for the Texans
David Carr's worst game, he might have turned the ball over three or four times and been sacked seven or eight times. But that was still a gutsy and hard-fought game for the kid despite having a horrible O-Line and only one or two playmakers on offense.

For Hoyer it's been four turnovers in the first half alone, two of which cost us two field goal attempts. In a 13-0 game, even if Hoyer had just played poorly we'd be down 13-6. But he's not even playing poorly today. He's been beyond pathetic that we're down 13-0. Hopefully it's only 13-0 at halftime. The KC Chiefs have time to score again before halftime.

**** off with that **** man. Nobody wants your geriatric man crush. Yes they need a QB. They need to solve the problem though, not rent a guy for 2-3 years and then be back in the same situation in 2018 or 2019.

Lol at some of the stupidist reasoning ever. So would it be better to get a rookie in here that will take two years to develop while the defense gets old? You can't be that stupid. We need a quality vet right now and a young qb to develop. Or we could just keep going down this road forever.

Would he have three turnovers in the first half right now if he had started this game? Hoyer just threw away points on that one fumble near the 30 and last interception at the 2. And his other pick he had all day to throw and just threw it right into Eric Berry's hands. It reminded me of Neil O'Donnell hitting Larry Brown in the Super Bowl 20 years ago. The only difference is that one wasn't a pick six.

We still have the second half to play. Down 13-0 is tough but still manageable if we put some good offensive drives together. A couple of TD drives is what we need. It's possible but for some reason it seems impossible with the way Brian Hoyer is playing.

Maybe Hoyer can get us some points right before halftime so we can build some momentum. But with Brian Hoyer it's always "Maybe" because I have lost all confidence in him. No wonder Cleveland Browns fans were elated when he wasn't re-signed and they don't even have good quarterback options!
I'm just saying that's how bad we are at qb.

D bails us out like usual. Offense will find a way 2 screw it up.

I would much rather trot out a rookie QB with upside and promise than trot out Hoyerrible or Shitzpatrick.

Weeden needs to start this second half.

Texans have virtually 0 chance to win with Hoyer.

Probably not with Weeden either but they have to try something else c
