I think he should get 2, but I think the entire 1st round should be 2 hours... selections are the easiest to make here

It would be cool if somehow there was an app you could synch to a thread that implemented a time clock, or just a simple ticker, to let people know they are on the clock :faildetector:

One thread, the pinned thread (which should be unpinned), was us deciding to do the draft.

I didn't think that was the appropriate place to actually HOLD the draft.

And there will be another thread that is only the picks.

This exercise & many other simulations could be a tool used by some front office to determine risk/reward of standing pat or moving up in this draft to get their top prospect. Therefore, Cowboys move up to Tennessee for Wentz. Tennessee would lose Tunsil but still net top OT or pass rusher plus extra #1 next year.
 
Was really hoping for Ramsey or Jack to fall as both are perfect fits for Jags. Unfortunately both are gone but let's not complicate things...

Jaguars select Joey Bosa - DE, Ohio State
 
This one was tough to do, and I love to do consensus things when I believe in them, but I don't in this case. I know who people are going to want, but I do NOT want him. I see opportunity cost, and I believe in opportunity lost.

I can't justify passing on this guy when I don't believe in the others that play his position as much later. I expect to get roasted, but I can live with it.

I love this dude. Obviously you wish he was taller. Also, he can use some work in the physicality department, but I'm sure that can be fixed. He had a pretty solid game against the #1 WR in this draft and even picked one off which shows me he can defend quality NFL level WRs.

Ravens take:

Vernon Hargreaves - CB - Florida - 5'10" - 204 lbs

I think Hargreaves is a good pick, sure everyone has DeForest Buckner going to the Ravens, but I've got no problem with this.

Ah, the Eagles have no faith in Ryan Mathews or whoever their RB was going to be. I know a lot of people hate RBs who aren't Adrian Peterson going this high, but I expect Elliot to go off the board somewhere around here, one way or another.

I can definitely see him going to the Eagles. Pederson came from KC where the offense revolved around the RBs. I don't think Ryan Mathews/Darren Sproles is the answer.

I agree. But RBs as a group haven't gotten drafted that high recently. But that is why it is YOUR draft. If you're happy, that's all that matters.

Since 2007, there have been 5 rbs taken in the top 10. Knowshon Moreno and Marshawn Lynch were number 12 picks. and obviously there are more 1st round RBs. I think if a team feels a RB can do it all and has the need, he will be drafted top 10.

Draft is going precisely how I envisioned... only the Cowboys might have gone in a different direction because they are the cowboys
