And with the first pick of the draft, JB and the Titans go out on a limb and pick:

Ok, this can be moved when the new thread happens for the draft, if and when it does... with no further ado and because I'm not getting up at 7 AM

With the first pick in the 2016 draft, the Tennessee Titans select Laremy Tunsil- OT Ole Miss. Big athletic man with good feet, this move gives the Titans a pair of quality bookends to protect Mariota and allows Poutasi to play guard thus strengthening two positions.

I strongly considered taking Ramsey here but felt the need for protecting the QB and opening holes for Murray was more important. Also I feel that the drop off in talent at OT is greater than that of the DB I could get at 2-1.

May I recommend having a thread for actual picks and a thread for discussion? I can see it becoming difficult to figure out who is on the clock when there's pages of relevant discussion.

Well, we normally have the one locked thread that only has the picks. And then the discussion thread. This would be the discussion and announcement thread.

I think those special locked threads can only be created by Moderators. We should have one of those created as soon as those guys show up.

Blake and someone else, can't remember, have mod privileges in this forum. I've been assuming one of them will set it up as in years past.
 
Yeah, it's funny. I seem to remember the first rounds usually flying by pretty quick with everyone making pick after pick after pick. It's the later rounds where things tend to grind to a halt.

I had privileges on the old board but dont have one on the new board.

How long until Watt's time is up?

If Watt doesn't show up Wentz has to be the pick so Tex doesn't have a coronary.

Watt may have been thinking he would have until 11 AM to make his pick, I don't know
 
I assume they'll get faster during the day. At 4 hours each, we'd only get 4 picks a day and that would take six weeks.

Oh ok, I thought the "2013 Texans Mock Draft" was the talking and this was the actual picks thread. Nothing precludes us from making a thread for picks and said would could then lock it after the picks. Not trying to nit pick here, just trying to get this rolling.

If he's struggling in the 1st rd imgine Watt it's going to be like in rds 6-7.

Doc Frost should (IMO) get his time like everyone else, but mussop should have a pick in mind concurrently. If DF doesn't make the pick in time mussop can do so and take over Dallas from there. Again, JMO.

I sent Doc Frost a message, so hopefully he responds quickly. I wouldn't give him the entire 4 hours, but maybe an hour.
