Unavailable, proxy or MIA:
1.) If you miss a single pick, the rest of your teams draft will be a group pick.
2.) If you know you will be gone for awhile and might miss your pick, PM your top X players to myself or another member of this mock. They will make a proxy pick for you. JUST FREAKING DO IT!

He's been on the clock since 6pm. Technically, he doesn't have to make a pick tonight. It would be nice if he did, so we can put the Texans on the clock in the morning.

He was probably at the NCAA championship game.

One of the top 5 games i've seen in my lifetime.
 
I hate the flu.

But since Blake hasn't selected, yet. We need to discuss what his pick should be so at 7, we can go ahead and make it.
 
Jets need linebackers, a quarterback, a guard, tackle, TE.

A quick list of options:
Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State
Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State
Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M
Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas

Personally, I'd lean toward one of those first four players I listed. With the problems signing Fitzpatrick, I'd flip a coin for Lynch or Cook.
 
If we need a board selection, I vote:

New York Jets
Top Needs - QB, OT and OLB
BPA - Darron Lee OLB/ILB

Yep. That's my call.


Leonard Floyd, Paxton Lynch and Jarran Reed are possibilities, but inferior choices in my not so humble opinion..
 
The Jets need help at LB badly.

Lee is purely an ILB in their system. He would not play outside. But they could use depth at the position. Harris is 32 now.

On the outside they need a pass rusher. They are so bad there that they've been using 294 lb. Sheldon Richardson at OLB. But he'll be moving back to DE at some point since they seem intent on moving Wilkerson.

They should be looking hard at Floyd and Ogbah. Lynch is also in play here.

So, my vote is Lynch.

Marshall wants Lee.

And you're leaning Floyd or Ogbah?

We need some sort of tie-breaker. Hopefully people will start showing up soon.
 
He was on the clock at 6PM and the clock stopped running at 7PM? I think that leaves him until 10AM.

But the earlier the better.
 
Blake was on the clock from 6-9 yesterday. Time to make his pick for him imo. Jets need either a rusher or QB in my opinion. I would say edge rusher... Floyd would be my call

With the 20th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the NY Jets take Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia.

So for the Texans do we want to go WR or DT? Reed, Billings, Coleman, Fuller, Doctson all in play here. Also maybe should consider top safety and Alexander still avail
 
Would Billings solve our issues at DE and also long term NT? Should we also consider Whitehair in rnd 1?
 
I'm voting Billings over Reed at DT and Doctson over Coleman at WR.

The DT's are rated higher and we have to look at next year too as we look to lose Wilfork to father time soon.

I suggest Billings in a close call with Doctson as a second choice. Maybe Ryan Kelly as a third choice at Center.

I'm satisfied with Oz, Savage and Weedon.

If we are discussing DE, I'd prefer Reed over Billings by a decent margin. No offense if you like Billings.

I really thought Jaelen could be the guy this team needed and I was soooooo stoked when we drafted him. But once you prove to me you are a numbskull, you are dead to me. He is still under a cheap rookie contract for a few more years, so he has ability to fight his way back and make the Doctson pick not matter, but I think you have to go about believing he's a stupid idiot and needs to be replaced mentality.

EDIT: BTW Boys... I mocked Pagan to the Texans 2 years ago when we did this, AND they drafted him. I don't think any help is needed there even w/ Crick gone. We got my guy about to show out this season.
 
I still think we need to give OL some strong consideration in the first 2 rnds. We need some speed at WR and DL help

I agree but it would seem that the talent available elsewhere is better in this scenario. Ifedi is the top OT left.
 
We are just making polls to make polls. Josh Doc killing it right now w/ people speaking up for him. Unless everyone erupts against it I BELIEVE we should just make that the pick at 900 AM (18 minutes).

IF we went OL, then Vadal Alexander would be my choice. I like big and strong guys there.
 
The way it should work for the Texans pick is that we set a window of time for voting.

Everybody gets one vote. You don't get to mention multiple people. Just cast your one vote and whichever player has the most when the clock is up is the pick.
