The Actual And Real 2016 Texans' Talk Mock Draft Extravaganza

Where do yall think the ideal landing position in the NFL for Bullard will be? Yall think he has enough speed to be a 3-4 OLB? Or is he destined to be a "smallish" DT in the NFL?
I see Bullard best suited as a 3-4 DE. IMO I think he's a little to heavy and slow to play the rush position. Actually IMO Bullard would be a good replacement and an upgrade to Jared Crick.

La'el Collins OG. Would have been top half of the 1st and the Cowboys got him undrafted after he was questioned in connection with the murder of a pregnant ex-girlfriend.
They haven't found the killer, either. Apparently hit a dead end when they couldn't unlock the murdered girl's cell phone.

Well, I totally F'ed this up.

The Saints select:

I wanted a thumper, but missed out on the two I had my eye on earlier in the draft. This may be a reach, due to his size, but he's very versatile & raw. The Atlanta Falcons select Deion "Dibo" Jones. LB (LSU)

I think he's a solid pick there. He's a tweener but if they use him how the cards use buchannon I see him being successful.

Dangit... too excited.

Shishkabob, if you don't mind editing your last post & deleting the incriminating evidence, I'd appreciate it.

With the #80 selection the Buffalo Bills select........Deion Jo......

Just kidding.

Willie Beavers - OT, Western Michigan

Buffalo is fine at OT in the short term but it could get bad in a hurry. Cordy Glenn has been franchise tagged and there's a chance we aren't able to sign him long term. Seantrel Henderson missed the back end of last season fighting Crohn's disease and we aren't sure if he'll come back as the same player or not. We've made some moves in FA but we're hedging our bets here with a developmental LT that can learn from Glenn and either take over his spot or compete at RT if we're able to get Glenn locked up.

With the 82nd pick, the Indianapolis Colts select Adolphus Washington, DT, Ohio State.

The Colts tried to address some of their OL needs with their first two picks (Spriggs and Vadal Alexander), and now they're turning to the top of their board to try to improve the DL. They had other needs that might be more pressing, but Adolphus was at a need position and at the top of their board.

The Jets have picked Leonard Floyd, OLB, who should help with their edge rusher need, and they've drafted Joshua Garnett, who would help with some of the OL need.

BUT. With D'Brickashaw Ferguson announcing his retirement, that changes things. They need an LT stat.

And they need a QB stat.

I'm going to through out Cardale Jones, QB, just because. But they need someone like a John Theus, Kyle Murphy, or Joe Haeg.

Your pick counted.

And just because you announced your pick again, don't expect me to re-announce mine. Which was Adolphus Washington.

And now the Jets are up.

I definitely think OT should be the pick for the Jets. I have Haeg, Murphy, and Theus all graded about the same so doesn't really matter to me which they take.

Yeah, unfortunately this news came today. I think knowing this would have radically changed the Jets priorities in earlier rounds.

I'm voting Theus as well. He's my highest rated guy right now.

Let's make it Theus, I'll make the Skins pick, and we can start on the Texans.

Agree, I think you can throw a blanket over these three.
What about Hawkins and Toner? Would they be in that same batch or a notch below?
I just saw Hawkins was pick 75. I put it in the wrong column. He was also 75 on my prospect list so I just overwrote it.

My recommendation for Texans 3rd RD is Carl Nassib, 6'7", 277 lbs., DE, PSU. I think Nassib is a better player than any OT drafted here and he fits very well opposite Watt and is even an upgrade to the departed Jared Crick.

I think Graham Glasgow also should be under consideration here... not likely he would make it to next round

Good idea. My vote though is for Jack Allen / Mich St.

We should at least consider Kentrell Brothers at OLB/ILB as BPA on my board. While not a primary need, we could use help there.

ps When do discussions turn to votes?
