If only the coaching would allow them to get a stop when it matteredDefense played well enough if Texans improve offense will win some games and be competitive.

Im aware. most players are playing wit some type of injury/injuries this late in the year. It’s no excuse to get pushed around like he’s been. I was happy with the pick. I thought and still do think it was a good and necessary pick. Just right now it’s looking like it might be a miss. Only time will tell for sure.Green was still playing injured (chest) despite the fact that he was not on the Injury Report. Then he suffered an ankle injury against the Cowboys.
I just knew they were going to revert back to that don’t get within 10 yards of the receiver until he catches it defense crap we’ve been watching all season long on that last drive. If only the coaching would allow them to get a stop when it mattered
careful now, not too much objective criticism of Caserio (god that sounds close to CasserlyIm aware. most players are playing wit some type of injury/injuries this late in the year. He's essentially been playing without a left arm,........hard not to be pushed around.Im aware. most players are playing wit some type of injury/injuries this late in the year. Thats on the coaches and the GM. Regardless, until he stops getting Pushed around he’s looking like a miss. He hasn’t had a good game all year that I can remember. Hes pretty much been on skates all year. He's essentially been playing without a left arm,........hard not to be pushed around.
Only if there are pictures if big boobs. Is is time for another big boob game thread yet?
Well he shouldn’t be out there. He's essentially been playing without a left arm,........hard not to be pushed around.
Agreed,Well he shouldn’t be out there.
yep agree If he doesn't play then seeing Dare and Eno play see what they can do as next man up. Not a big Burkhead fan here.No reason to play Pierce unless he's 100% healthy.
Everybody's injured this time of year. Not to minimize the new ankle injury, but the pec...Please, don’t let facts get in the way of Texans fans creating another reason to be depressed.
Not all injuries are the same.Everybody's injured this time of year. Not to minimize the new ankle injury, but the pec...
Everybody's hurt this time of year
ExactlyNot all injuries are the same.
Don’t copy me. I said it first.Exactly
Right but unless it's going to hurt him further, even injured he's better than his backupWell he shouldn’t be out there.
They did up until that final 98 yard driveInteresting quote from Mike McCarthy about Lovie's defense:
Smith is known for his Tampa 2 scheme, but McCarthy told reporters after the Cowboys’ 27-23 win over the Texans at AT&T Stadium in Arlington that Smith was running something else on Sunday afternoon.
“As far as the type of coverages, it’s more quarters than I’ve ever Lovie play,” McCarthy said. “Lot of combinations to that.” McCarthy explained that Smith excels as a “vision defensive coordinator.” Said McCarthy: “I thought they played with good vision, and they were on our hip every time the ball was thrown and caught.”

He’s hurting his team is the point I’m trying to make here. Yes Lovie said he’s better but honestly do we know? Put the backup in for at least 2 games and then we could judge.Right but unless it's going to hurt him further, even injured he's better than his backup
True, but what is there to gain by leaving him in at this point. For right now, he is 1 of the 2 or 3 at the max who are not expendable on offense. Shut him down...Right but unless it's going to hurt him further, even injured he's better than his backup
I hate you for this.View attachment 11228

Here you go good sir... some of the biggest boobs in Houston.
Would have been nice to have a decent backup RB. Especially, when Pierce went out. Anyone see Marlon Mack? He’s hurting his team is the point I’m trying to make here. Yes Lovie said he’s better but honestly do we know? Put the backup in for at least 2 games and then we could judge.
You were right about the likely injury. High ankle sprain.Pierce out.
makes sense that he was playing something a bit more different than his Tampa 2. Passes were being contested in much tighter windows, Pitre in particular was flying around, Kirksey was more in position on his drops and nearly knocked down 2 of Dak's passes over the middle. There APPEARED to be more blitzing..Harris came on 1 early that forced an errant pass from Dak.......... Overall, it just seemed like the players were playing down hill and were much more aggressive.Interesting quote from Mike McCarthy about Lovie's defense:

A back that should be getting action behind DP. Nick and Lovie botched on this one.Would have been nice to have a decent backup RB. Especially, when Pierce went out. Anyone see Marlon Mack?
Mack is only getting run b/c he's not the main guy...& b/c he plays with Mahomes and co. Here he'd probably be hurt like he's been all his career..... or not making any kind of impact or difference like he did as a back up to Taylor in Indy last year.A back that should be getting action behind DP. Nick and Lovie botched on this one.
Mack is with the Broncos.Mack is only getting run b/c he's not the main guy...& b/c he plays with Mahomes and co. Here he'd probably be hurt or not making any kind of impact or difference.
I wrote a commentary on that article in the Injury Thread. You were right about the likely injury. High ankle sprain.
"Mild."
"One to two weeks."
Sources: Texans running back Dameon Pierce suffered high ankle sprain, may sideline him 1-2 games (click2houston.com)
Then disregard the ramblings of this middle aged man lolMack is with the Broncos.
It's folly to suggest there's any RB out there to solve the Texans offensive issues. But dammit, I just know there are a dozen RBs on practice squads 10x better than Rex Burkhead. Then disregard the ramblings of this middle aged man lol
I read that and came to the logical conclusion that Dameon Pierce should be kidnapped until the end of the season. Volunteers?I wrote a commentary on that article in the Injury Thread.
Will your guys bring him back is the problem i see here.
One play doesn't make a season.A back that should be getting action behind DP. Nick and Lovie botched on this one.
"I don't know what you're trying to prove, Burkhead is a threat to take to the house every time he touches the ball! Way more versatile than Mack, and he's uh shifty in a sneaky way. We definitely made the correct choice, the goal is to win the battle 1.5 yards at a time."Would have been nice to have a decent backup RB. Especially, when Pierce went out. Anyone see Marlon Mack?
Damn .... I just knew their streak couldn't last .... so close !A back that should be getting action behind DP. Nick and Lovie botched on this one.
Haven't you seen McCray play? He’s hurting his team is the point I’m trying to make here. Yes Lovie said he’s better but honestly do we know? Put the backup in for at least 2 games and then we could judge.
I agree but they don't listen to meTrue, but what is there to gain by leaving him in at this point. For right now, he is 1 of the 2 or 3 at the max who are not expendable on offense. Shut him down...

That dude is still better than Burkhead is my got darn point. One play doesn't make a season.
I am not trying to give Caserio a pass, but Burkhead reeks of an Easterby hold over. He was in leading a prayer group back in New England when Easterby left. That dude is still better than Burkhead is my got darn point.
True. Now find me one play similar to or even half the distance from a backup RB on the Texans. One play doesn't make a season.
