Fine. They players select the captains so it's whomever they want. Just call tails, and you'll be OK.Thoughts on the team captains? Stroud, Tunsil, Ward, Pitre
I'm glad the Clemson trash has been flushed out of this org.Remember when people wanted Dabo Swinney as head coach?
Does Stroud know that a coin has a head on one side and a tail on the other side?Fine. They players select the captains so it's whomever they want. Just call tails, and you'll be OK.
I wouldn't throw stones in a glass house.Does Stroud know that a coin has a head on one side and a tail on the other side?
I wouldn't if I was in your shoes either.I wouldn't throw stones in a glass house.
Agreed. I could care less about Locker and his drug use, Bubba Stoerner and Mama and Hughley and his spasmo rants. I saw him on Texans 360 once and he actually acted quite professional. Producers must have given him a pill or something before hand…They need a fresh start. Stoerner, Locker and "Show" all suck.
But you found out.I'll just put this out.........for those unaware............those on the Fan Council must sign NDAs regarding never relating anything regarding that which is spoken about during the meetings.
Yes. Somehow I'm being re-exposed to the Spanish Inquistion. I will not succumb. But you found out.
I don't understand why you're being so sensitive about information you are reporting, not generating. Do you think your source has firsthand knowledge of the meeting?Yes. Somehow I'm being re-exposed to the Spanish Inquistion. I will not succumb.
I've given as much information as I intend to. Feel free to pump Stradley.I don't understand why you're being so sensitive about information you are reporting, not generating. Do you think your source has firsthand knowledge of the meeting?
I remember when our coaching was so bad we were trying to come up with a solution anywhere we could find one. Evidently you do not remember that. You are very fortunate.Remember when people wanted Dabo Swinney as head coach?
if he or anyone had pics they would be the new Jack easterby with the Texans.Caserio isn't sleeping with Cal as far as I know.
Maybe you can provide us with pics?
So what's your point?Do you have any idea how stupid this sounds? Doesn't follow any sort of logic.

Whoa.. bad taste.Forward.
I think I should at least take her out to dinner first, maybe a movie.
We know what the round table is for and it certainly isn't conducive to winning championships.
If you want to see ownership committed to winning championships then look no further than how Crane runs his org from the beginning of the rebuild until current day. He didn't care what the fans thought or have fan councils. He hired Luhnow and let Luhnow and his people do their jobs. Crane only stepped in for the big money contracts like JV's. BTW, Crane is rolling in money over on Crawford..
All I ask is for people to compare and contrast the way the two orgs are run and why you think the McNair's will ever win a championship? Is it even a priority for them?
I guess that's thatI've given as much information as I intend to. Feel free to pump Stradley.
I mean you could also just laugh about itI remember when our coaching was so bad we were trying to come up with a solution anywhere we could find one. Evidently you do not remember that. You are very fortunate.

I remember when coaching was so bad that we wanted to promote a player who had never been in the coaching profession to straight to HC. Josh McCown was the name we wanted.
Wait - that wasn’t us. We aren’t that dumb. That was the ownership.
Sorry. Wrong memory.
Ownership hasn't changed ..... but the perception around them seems to have.
They did one thing right in hiring Demeco - that blind squirrel found a nut.

Laughter is no longer my go-to with the Houston TexansI mean you could also just laugh about it
Stupidity continues in rushing injured back onto the field.Howard did not at practice this morning. His hand swelled up and he has been placed on IR. This soon after Howard's type of surgery, like any limb injury................it needs to be elevated.........wearing a heavy club which he mostly let dangle was very predictable of undue swelling and setback. As I predicted in trying hit the opener, haste makes waste.
I rarely read anything about fantasy football but found this surprising about Dameon Pearce:
Najee Harris, Dameon Pierce among 4 fantasy football RBs to avoid in Week 1
Najee Harris of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dameon Pierce of the Houston Texans are among the fantasy football running backs to avoid in lineups for Week 1, according to UPI senior sports writer Alex Butler.sports.yahoo.com

... For about a day, then I'd want to pour acid down my ears.I wish. They need to give him his own show. Dump Locker & the Show. Actually I’d start listening again if they’d team Stoerner & Stafford in the afternoon.
That would be awesome.

I saw this elsewhere on X, and although I like Evans, that would be a no no for me.Some are saying that this change in number is in anticipation of the Texans trading for Mike Evans #13.............he has local roots, but have not seen any confirming info to this effect.

yeah dudes a beast...but i dont see how it happens..especially not to us...would love to have him. Would instantly be WR1 and upgrade us to an above avg group w/ him and Nico, and Dell...but its a pipe dream.Expound? 9 years never under 1,000 . 30 YOA
IMO, he's a piece to a squad that will be a contender. We're in rebuilding mode and I'd like to see an infusion of youth that can grow with the team to be at it's peak. Evans is 30 and still an extremely reliable WR who I see more as a possession and red zone type of threat at this stage of his career. I envision 2 more years of good productivity and then a steep drop off. I'm also against using draft capital 3rd round or above to acquire older vets on expiring contracts. I want to see this team draft and develop it's future especially since we know we're probably in for a bumpy ride at least this year.Expound? 9 years never under 1,000 . 30 YOA
