Seriously she is a huge part of Texas history that if anyone is not aware of; take a few and research. Morgan's Point is few minutes from where I live and she lived there. Truly remarkable woman.
Side note, I drank a few ounces of 4 Roses in USMC; pretty good for an inexpensive bourbon.

In a apocalyptic future they're going to lock us all up in abandoned movie theaters.. No one is using them for anything else.

The truth is that, for the most part, sports fandom is about deriving satisfaction from another's achievement as if it is our own. Fans sort of live vicariously through sports figures. It's about vanity and ego. That's what a Christian minister said some time ago and I think he's right. With that said, the Texans better give me my glory or I'll be outraged!

You need to go back and listen to the entire segment. Both guys said if the season started today Mills should be the starter. Followed by a throng of callers that correctly pointed out that Mills should be ahead of Stroud since he's played 2 yrs in the NFL. The hosts also correctly pointed out that the best player should play and that most QB's get 3 yrs before team knows what it has at QB.
 
It just doesn't matter who's having a good training camp or not. Who shows up in preseason games is more important and we're not there yet. And even that makes no difference 'cause Stroud will be starting in the regular season. If Mills can actually beat out Stroud for that starter spot we got other problems. :lol:

Unfortunately you can say the same thing about Stroud. Truth is Mills looked better his rookie year because he didn't face pressure up the middle (Thanks Q/Green) and had better weapons with a fully engaged Cooks

Exactly, regardless of who is better this preseason, at some point Stroud will be starting. They wont keep Stroud on the bench regardless if Mills is better, because that would be admitting Hannah made a mistake and we know that aint gonna happen.

Whoever the starting QB is in preseason or regular season the answer is 'winning isn't everything it's the only thing'.

I dont believe everything is sunshine and Lollypops or terrible. But I do believe Stroud hasn't looked as good as Stroud, due to experience and the ability to retain information. Hopefully Stroud gets there because he's gonna be the Texans QB at some point whether he deserves the position or not.

You really sound like you have a personal grudge and vendetta against Hannah....did she turn you down and get with Cal and thats the reason for all the hate??? At this point it just sounds like petty blabber and nonsense.

Word out of training camp def isnt that he hasnt been able to retain the information...it has been clearly and repeatedly stated that when Stroud had his bad day (I think it was training day 6....maybe 5) he was running with the 2nd string Oline and they collapsed IMMEDIATELY....while Mills ran with the ones....and they say "he threw a dime to a WR deep" but if you look at the video WAJr would have cleaned his clock as he pulled up stopped and watched the play unfold....Mills would have had his clock cleaned and most likely fumbled the ball since his ball security isnt the greatest.

If you believe it, yes. Their grade is like PFF's... kinda like a spreadsheet.

Means nothing.

If the season started tomorrow Case should start. But he won't, & for good reason. The Texans are grading on a different scale, looking into the future.

Naw.....it'll actually be a great problem to have. Stroud will be just fine as an NFL QB, and if Mills has beat him out by the last Pre Season game.....then its's fine to roll with Mills until Ryans and Caserio deem it necessary to replace him with Stroud. If Mills wants the QB1 position, then it's his job to prove that his 3rd year in the NFL and Slowick's new offensive system was the right time for him to blossom.

It's not the end of world, just means the Texans would have (3) QB's the team could count on for the season.

I don't make snap judgements and when it comes to feelings I've been accused of being cold hearted and not giving a crap about anything but the bottom line. All of which is untrue.

Sometimes you have to make snap judgements and you make them based on experience. The other part, I know who I am and where my heart is, so I don't really care what others think.

Yep. Personally, I think it strikes to our primal hunter/gatherer roots regarding tribalism. At it's worst, it became nationalism and world wars were fought. With sports, it's mostly harmless.

I hated the way the Jalen Ramsey trade went down. I credited Mulugheta with how that went down.

I didn't like the way the Watson trade went down & I credit Mulugheta with the way that happened.

This is quite honestly the first good story I've heard involving Mulugheta. Client comes to work, on time, does what is expected & everything is worked out.

I'll give Mulugheta credit for the way this came about.

He’s going to have to be careful. What if screen shots of his posts that could be construed as racist found their way to Hannah’s Texans marketing Department. No problem there but using a message board name that is a game day uniform trademark…intellectual property…that’s called NEXUS and Hannah may not like the way Texans intellectual property is being used to promote a certain agenda. Doesn’t matter what we think. It’s what the “gold digger and her husband Cletus think is an infringement on their trademarks.
