How about this.... I told Joe Texan we're gonna win this game affter being down by 14 with 12:26 left in the 4th quarter...

How about I said the same thing to him EVEN AFTER Matt schaub threw an interception in overtime... I stayed steadfast with my assertion "We will win this game"..

Joe will tell you.. I called it.. I totally called it!!!!
 
I hate Josh Innes sooooooooooo much and wish he would get fired from 610. They won't let them speak to Kubiak and the Rockets will not call into the their show cus of him.

Roger wilco. I think a lot of that unexperienced history was shown post-game by many Texan fans.

One thing that drives me nuts about the Texans, sometimes it seems like they are too ****ing nice. Offense is set and you see an opponent's defensive player running off the field and the Texans seem to wait until he is off the field before they consider to snap the damn ball. A few times this season I have screamed at the TV for them to snap the ball and get the free play or the 5 yard penalty.

Yeah, and the Titans are b!tching because they think Pollard's hit was incidental while Kareem's was on purpose.

I say fubar. Kareem deserved it and so does Bernie. Bernie has a well-deserved rep with the NFL for his hitting "style" and for that he is on their radar and will get fined at every turn. Too bad, just ask Antonio Smith how that works.
 
Frankly, I think they were both intentional. I might give K-Jax just a little slack for basically being bone-headed on that play (or maybe I'm just a homer), but they both intentionally hit the receiver's head.
 
I understand using 12 personel inside the redzone. Having big targets like graham and daniels in schaubs face gives him easy throws. I would likento see more 11 with mattin in the slot or go big 11 with nuk at x, aj at y, and posey as the z. The could still run out of that, but u wouldnt be able to touch andre, plus it would give the team more explosion and more explosive plays.
 
I don't take in much from offseason publication and their predictions. But I do remember reading that one publication picked Denver, New England, and talked a bit about Baltimore as main teams as Super Bowl contenders. Later in the article they mentioned the Texans as the most sound team across the board.I thought it was odd the Texans weren't mentioned in Super Bowl talk.


Yeah the koolaid I was drinking clouded my judgement. I didn't think about our lack of the intangible of killer instinct or when knowing how to will our way to a win
 
Maybe I just didn't focus much on this before. But I was getting frustrated with our receivers seemed many times the ball would be incomplete and they kept looking for the flag. All I could think of was. Make a damn play and quit worrying about if a ref is going to call a foul or not. (No not blaming the wr/te on matts crappy thrown balls, just was wishing they would concentrate more on their part instead of what the defense sas doing)
 
Schaub has 4 pick-6 INT's in last 4 games. Schaub has the same amount of TD passes to Andre Johnson over the last 36 games.
 
I was WRONG..

I have to give colts props. They sucked and got first pick if draft. Had a crappy defense to boot. Lost their coach for the season. Put they pulled together and won games.

Meanwhile the Texans have some issues....Kubiak going out. Bum passing away ..and this team doesn't know how to rally around each other.
 
Texans were 10 points away from a 6-4 record and 1 game lead for the final WC spot. That kinda hurts.

So what conclusion do we draw from this? That they are unlucky? That they are gutless as a team and consistently lose the close ones? That they are almost good enough to be high average?

Take away whatever you like. Just a sad realization at how easy a WC spot would be right now had those close games or even a couple of those games gone to us.
 
If this team made the playoffs, they'd just be an extremely embarrassing 1 & done. We're talking 42-6 loss to whomever is the #3 seed, in the Wildcard round.
 
I am stoked for tomorrow. And will be glad when we get this over with.
I dont get how people can say this is just "Ricks pick" or "bob's pick" "Romeo's" or even "McNair" pic. I think I it goes deeper than the team saying" you get the next one romeo. Make the call....

Or maybe it is an easier discussion to pick a point of view and point it at one of the coaches

I like that there is secrecy around it this year - the "whose pick is it" aspect just adds to the uncertainty for the other teams, and can only help the Texan's position if they do decide to go for a trade. There are 2-4 guys who could, realistically go number one - if any other team desperately wants to pick up one of those guys, we could be in a position to benefits from the sitaution.

Plus it was kind of boring knowing that Mario was being taken a few years back - this year it'll be more exciting seeing it all unfold.:texflag:
 
This 2014 draft will have a huge impact on the next five years for this franchise. It's crazy to think about it. Take a QB or Clowney? If QB, which one? Maybe even take Mack? I just hope we can get some luck and have a draft similar to the 2006 draft.
 
Obviously they are going Fitzpatrick who has now been with 5 different NFL teams. Why so many different teams you ask. The answer to that question is simple. NWAS. At this point I'm not excited about our offensive team at all. Very disappointed and discouraged. Foster's over the hill, Johnson's on his last legs, lost our great tide end, Tate gone, No NFL elite quarterback.. pitiful
