I could see Mills signing for another year this off-season with a !0% raise and go year to year like this. He's a smart guy, if he stays with the Texans doing 1 yr deals from yr to yr for the next 10 yrs will make him around 60-65 mil in career earnings and he wont even have to play a meanigful down for the Texans hopefully. Mills is a smart man.I like it.
Solid backup and extends the timeline by a year of deciding what to do at back up qb. Maybe Mills ends up signing for longer if theres not much of a market for his services.
Seems like teams are more willing to take swings on qbs early and let them play rather than bring in vets like mills to be a stop gap.
