Lonnie Ballentine and Bennie Joppru consider him injury prone!Jacob Phillips has an almost unbelievable injury history.
In 2020, week 1 and again in week 5, he tore his MCL and missed 6 games.
In 2021, he ruptured his biceps tendon at the beginning of the season which required surgery, and for which he missed all but the last 4 games.
In 2022, he missed most of of the season with a ruptured left pectoral tendon which required surgery.
He missed all last season with a torn right pectoral tendon suffered in preseason for which he required surgery

It most always starts with the later picks but the article tells you who they have signedTwo more? Who else have they signed?
He a ST guy but can he play slot? That almost surely spells the end of Robert Woods.
Interesting that the price is pick swaps which may end up being added value for us.
I can't foresee any circumstance where their 7th round pick is worth more than our 6th round pickInteresting that the price is pick swaps which may end up being added value for us.
Yeah I misread it and thought they had swapped their 6th for a 6th and 7th for a 7th. not one for the other, my bad.I can't foresee any circumstance where their 7th round pick is worth more than our 6th round pick
Yeah. Special teamer who plays slot and fullback. Might mean the end of Beck as well with Skowronek and Jordan deputizing in the FB role.He a ST guy but can he play slot?
If so, Texans may hold Tank back a couple games or so.
Not specifically the player, but his hands & position. Unlike Pearsall he comes with Super Bowl ring which he contributed to in all four post season gamesComparing this guy to Pearsall? Ok...whateves..
If he's going to make it to the 53, and I'd say he's got a pretty good shot, he has to be a jack of all trades. ST ace, 6th or 7th WR (depending on roster construction position they list him at), and spot duty as a FB/HB type. That's his ticket.
He's a different guy than Woods. While I still think he'll likely be cut to clean up cap space, it wouldn't shock me if they keep Woods, either. There's a ton of flexibility in how they go about the group on offense.

Kevin Walter used do that to DEs.
Whoa, we don't talk about Kevin "Please-get-us-an-upgrade" Walter anymore.Kevin Walter used to that to DEs.
Depends on how much Skowronek contributes on ST's. Potentially Skowronek and a 7th is worth more than a 6th. Particularly a late 6thI can't foresee any circumstance where their 7th round pick is worth more than our 6th round pick
This and ST's is where he can contribute. Plus he's got good hands.
Love this post.Under the radar, former Notre Dame big body WR & 7th rd gem draft steal by the Rams now a Houston Texan. Love what I see out of Ben on the tape
Nick & front office are on fire bet they caught CJ reaction on bleecher report draft show when Ricky Pearsall was snagged in the 1st rd. This addresses that with next years 6th. Gotta love it, Let’s Go!!!!
Should take a bit of pressure off Tank...Love this post.
He doesn't run a 4.41 like Pearsall. But he's a better blocker.
They drafted and now have traded for a bunch of Dawgs.
So Doaks is waived. Is Fisher the only unsigned draft pick now?The Houston Texans made a roster move.

Trying to cause issues between the twins with signing bonus..
They love giving undrafted RBs a lot of guaranteed money for some reason
Perhaps it was what was needed to keep that player from signing with another team? They love giving undrafted RBs a lot of guaranteed money for some reason
Maybe he'll become Arian Foster 2.0, but here's a link to his college stats:Perhaps it was what was needed to keep that player from signing with another team?
Where has your source been? He was signed March 15
I was familiar with Valladay but not Brooks.Maybe he'll become Arian Foster 2.0, but here's a link to his college stats:

For comparison, last year's UDFA RB, Xazavian Valladay, had more rushing yards, receiving yards, and TDs in his Senior season than Brooks had in his entire career. Nearly a quarter million guaranteed for a RB with under 900 total rushing yards just seems odd to me.
??? Did he have medical issues that had to be vetted? Thought he signed several weeks ago.
" my stats are good but it took me approximately 25 more receptions to get what Nico got stat wise last season. I'm also 6 years older and I better grab a similar deal as soon as possible rather than gambling that somebody else is going to want me at 32 even if I have a very good year. I don't want to be Steven Nelson sitting out in the cold. Let me get Nick on the phone."Wonder what Diggs thinks of Collins' gold strike?
