Lurker squad
Howard's been practicing but I still haven't seen a report he's been activated to the 53. Wonder why?

Also, Zentner was released but no report Fairbairn has been activated to the 53, but Zentner's roster spot has to be for Fairbairn. Is there a spot for Howard to be activated to or should we be expecting someone else to be released?

Howard has been taking first string snaps at LG, or so the reports say. Anyone have any news who's been taking second string snaps?

I would think they'll be releasing roster moves today.
I think you mean Zentner was released to free up a spot for Cam Johnston, as Fairbairn is already rostered

Looks like the PS callups are CB and LB. Expecting Griffin out, Harris already ruled out. Get Tavierre Thomas back at nickel but lose another starting outside CB. I hope Hollman is up to the task.

LB I am confident Cashman can plug the hole left by Christian Harris.

Laremy is the highest-paid offensive tackle in the league, if I'm reading this correctly. He's probably worth it too - when he's healthy. I take it that Laremy has been pretty steady for Houston to make him the highest-paid player on the Texans. Are any of you concerned that his current injury issue(s) are going to significantly reduce his playing time for the remainder of this year?

By the way, the graph I shared above states that Laremy can be an UFA in 2027. Does that mean AFTER the 2027 season or before it? Thanks in advance.

Texans sign myjai Sanders defensive end
Nice low risk acquisition. Essentially adding a 3rd round pick from last year. Lets hope the change of scenery aids his development.

Our DC Matt Burke was the Cardinals DL coach when he was drafted so probably has a good idea on how to help him reach his potential.

Went back and watched some highlights from college. He looks like he could be deadly as a wide 9 DE. He's got a fast first step.
LZ’s comp was Arden Key when he was drafted. Coincidentally, Key was a bust with the team that drafted him and then spent a year in DeMeco’s defense to have a career year and get paid in Free Agency.

Sanders will be under a rookie contract for three years. Lets hope DeMeco’s defense can do wonders for him and the team can basically hit on a 3rd round pick for free.
