Sexual Assault Suits Against Watson

Don’t kid yourself. Actions were foreshadowed. And it’s no coincidence that this thread was allowed to live while the other died. It was because eventually the lawsuits will end and that will be reason this thread will close.

Don’t try to hide it.
..and when this thread closes I'm sure another one will be opened.. He's a NFL player, you can't just cancel him off the board when the League he plays in didn't.. They should've, but they didn't. So this isn't going to go away.

Reason why there should just be a "All encompassing Watson.. if you don't want to read about it, DON'T ENTER!!! (yeah put that in the title too) Thread".

🤔 Well if the previous track record stays consistent, this thread will be closed a few months before all Watson's legal troubles are settled.

I find it interesting that the Browns pick was traded for Diggs and a fifth next year. So technically the Browns trade haul ain’t over.

Listen to the very short video. Watson a game manager? His ego won't be able to allow hime to contain himself. If he does turn into mostly a game manager, it will only be because of his shoulder injury debility dictating it. The excuses are already being built in.

Watson barely knows how to manage not being in prison, let alone manage a game of football

I love tattoos, have several myself.. and I think that's pretty cringey..

The oddball mickey mouse creatures holding hands.. his huge girlfriend face.. 'legendary'.. all the black shading.. and I don't even know where to begin with MLK wearing a ballcap..

It's not so much the objects in the tattoo that i like (it probably means something to watson) but the amount of details the tattooist was able to achieve considering he's working a darker skin canvas which is impressive

P.s but a tattoo of his gf face is cringe worthy though

I don’t have any tattoos so I really don’t understand the concept, like the points you brought out. But what is the single most point someone with salad bowl tattoos is trying to make…and to whom. Themselves? People that walk by? Why on the back when you have to stand between mirrors to see it if it means something to you? Obviously it’s meant to convey something about hisself to others, but who REALLY gives a damn? And BTW, all those tattoos are going to look like wet newspaper with age.

The “By any means” on his left arm is disturbing considering his history.

Deshaun Watson is sued for sexual assault and battery
By Mike Florio
Published September 9, 2024 04:02 PM

As Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson struggles to regain his old form, he has a new legal issue.
On Monday, Watson was sued in Houston for sexual assault and battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The accusations are strikingly similar to those made against Watson in more than 20 lawsuits filed in 2021. However, the plaintiff in the new case, who filed under the Jane Doe pseudonym, contends that she went on a date with Watson. Most if not all other cases arose from paid massages that Watson had arranged.

The lawsuit explains that the date was set for October 10, 2020. Watson, per the lawsuit, was initially unable to find her apartment. He called her and allegedly began “aggressively yelling and screaming and stating that he could not find her apartment and that he ‘doesn’t have time for this.’”

The lawsuit then contains the following allegations:

“When Watson finally arrived at Doe’s apartment, Doe had not finished putting on makeup, so she invited Watson in to have a seat in her living room while she finished getting ready. As she was putting on makeup in her bathroom, Doe left the bathroom door open and attempted a conversation with Watson, trying to ease the tension from his angry outburst. Jane Doe quickly began to believe she was talking to herself because Watson wasn’t responding.

“Jane Doe came out of her bathroom to investigate Watson’s silence and shockingly found him completely naked on her bed, lying face-down on his stomach. While Jane Doe stood there in shock, Watson turned his head and aggressively insisted that she massage him, gesturing to his buttocks. Jane Doe asked if Watson meant he wanted her to massage his back, but Watson indicated that it was his buttocks he wanted massaged.

“Jane Doe was at this point in the encounter terrified. She was in her small apartment with a much larger man, and she was still reeling from Watson’s outburst and aggression on the phone. Doe thus tried to appease Watson by rubbing his back, rather than his buttocks. Watson began insisting, again, that she focus on his glutes. Seemingly frustrated that Doe would only rub his back, Watson then turned over, revealing an erection. Watson continued to demand that Jane Doe massage him, gesturing from his knees to his groin. Jane Doe froze in fear, unsure of how to refuse Watson’s advances without jeopardizing her safety. Confused and scared, she reiterated to Watson that she wasn’t a masseuse. Watson asked her what she wanted to do instead.

“Before Jane Doe could answer, Watson grabbed Jane Doe’s leg and positioned her so that she was lying down. Watson then partially disrobed Jane Doe and penetrated her vagina without consent, implicit or explicit. Jane Doe felt paralyzed, unsure if she should risk her safety by trying to stop Watson or endure his assault. Watson roughly sexually assaulted Jane Doe for several minutes in a ‘missionary position’ before grabbing her and flipping her over. Watson continued to assault Doe aggressively from behind. Jane Doe finally gathered the courage and strength to escape Watson. Jane Doe quickly ran to her dresser to grab a heavy piece of décor for self-defense, and yelled at Watson [to] get out of her apartment. Enraged, Watson stormed out of Jane Doe’s apartment.”

The statute of limitations for most personal injury cases is two years. In Texas, a five-year window applies because the case expressly alleges sexual assault,

The plaintiff is represented by Tony Buzbee. He represented many others who sued Watson in 2021.

This new case raises plenty of issues, from the standpoint of the league and the Browns. It’s possible that Watson could be subject to further scrutiny under the Personal Conduct Policy. It’s also possible that a suspension — if one is imposed — could give the Browns a path toward voiding his remaining salary guarantees and ending the relationship.

The biggest difference between the latest case and the others is that Watson specifically is accused of sexual assault.

The statute of limitations for a civil lawsuit for sexual assault of an adult in Texas is typically five years from the date of the incident. With this filing, I have to have serious suspicion that there may be a criminal complaint ongoing.
The statute of limitations for a criminal complaint of an adult is 10 years from the date of the offense.

I will have to post the full lawsuit. But in there it says, “Jane Doe was approached by an agent of Watson’s to facilitate a date”.

It seems that Watson already failed to tell the NFL or Hardin (who pled ignorance..................if Hardin didn't know, the NFL certainly didn't know) about the case that was filed last year. The NFL for whatever reasons (probably protective) chose to ignore it then.

It isn't as simple as Florio makes things sound. Much of Watson's multiple restructuring has led to cap money already being spent by Haslam and the Browns. Remaining cap and dead money will be a big complicating factor.

Florio, if he had a gun which the officer could not have known, it would not have in any way been considered "excessive" response on the part of the officer.

Footage emerges of initial interaction between police and Tyreek Hill
By Mike Florio

The truth continues to trickle out regarding the Tyreek Hill detainment by police from Sunday morning, before the Jaguars-Dolphins game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Various reporters have the camera footage. Here’s the initial interaction between Hill and police officers.

The situation quickly went sideways, with Hill chastising the officer for knocking on his car window. Hill then asks for a ticket, because he was concerned about being late.

Hill initially puts his window down. He then puts it back up. The officer tells him to put it back down. That’s when the officer opened the door and dragged him out of the car.

“When we tell you to do something, you do it,” an officer says to Hill. “You understand? You understand? Not what you want. But what we tell you. You are a little ******* confused.”

The reaction seems excessive. But Hill also seemed to be uncooperative, especially when he put his window up and refused to put it back down.

The reason for keeping the window down is obvious. The officers need to see whether the driver has a gun or any other weapon. If the window is tinted and up, the officers are at a clear disadvantage.

The message to anyone who gets pulled over is clear. Just do what they tell you to do, unless they tell you to do something completely unreasonable. It’s not unreasonable to be asked to put the window down and leave it down.

That said, the reaction seems excessive.

So it’s possible that Hill didn’t handle the situation in an ideal way, and that the police went too far in dragging him out of the car and handcuffing him.

While I would like to see that happen to Watson, I'd love )prefer) to see the Browns suffer as long as possible
The Browns have been screwing up QB decisions decades before Watson and will probably continue to do it decades after Watson.. Plus we already got our pound of flesh from them 😁

When that contract was signed I said to myself "How the hell does a man with 25+ sexual assault accusations get a 250 million NFL first fully guaranteed contract? What have we become.."

I hope Watson's contract is voided and he loses all remaining guaranteed dollars.. and following his dumbassery through this all, I have no doubt a vast majority of what he's already been paid is and will be spent. (It's expensive to have a Jelly Anus). It's all going to make one helluva 30 for 30 special one day. (Hopefully with a segment showing Houston/Stroud hoisting the Lombardi trophy directly because of the capital they got out of the Browns/Watson trade.

Hey now, it was only 230 million...LOL 😉

Just seems to be so much Karma in this event. Don’t know if it’s divine cause or just one bad human cause feeding this stream of symptoms. But it can only be divine in that this event is centered on a team called the Browns.
