How many times does he have to pass protocol before he can practice?

At this point we should just wild cat it next week. Better yet, direct snap to RB and he just runs it. No WRs on the field. Just OL and TE.

Since we will have a Saturday game he probably doesn't have time to clear.
 
The defense was bound to spring a leak after having to carry the load for this team almost all season. I can only imagine how tired and frustrated they must be after having the burden put on them so often.

Hard to say. McNair is going to talk up whoever is starting.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Savage doesn't have a concussion & McNair (on recommendation from Rick) told O'b to p

What gives you so much confidence in a Qb that has struggled most of his career? Outside of a small sample size last season I would not expect Weeden to be our savior when he has been average at his best throughout his career.

I agree, after three years he's been hurt half the time despite very little playing time, it's time to move on from him. We can do better. How about a seasoned veteran back up.

O'b countered by pulling the defensive starters. gonna make it harder for Osweiler to win.
