**Official Game-Day Thread** Texans at Titans, Sunday Jan 1, 2017!!

I know it's too early to speculate but do you guys think Brock Osweiler will be named starting quarterback for the playoffs? How fast can Tom Savage clear the concussion protocol? Especially if our wild-card game is on Saturday afternoon (the early game).

We should make a deal for Garopollo after this game for when we are able to in the future. Then we need to draft a qb in round one and another in round 2. Draft offensive line 3rd and 4th and 5th. Draft a corner/safety round 6 and a RB somewhere.

This QB carousel **** show has got to stop. We need to find an answer. I'm so sick of year in and year out having 4 QBs play. Most good teams have one QB all year...

With BO'b it may not matter if TS passes the protocol BO'b may still start Os.

Brock Osweiler can definitely play at a high level. I wonder if a lot of his struggles came down to the playcalling most of the season. He's been looking light years better in this game.

I can promise you it will be elsewhere. Wasting 3 years is enough on this guy and we still don't even know what we've got in him. You want to give him a 4th year on our quarterback roster??? Give me a break.

It is not like we have not seen signs during the season. His first two games he was not that bad.

The guy has more ints than TDs what the hell else do we need to know? He also isn't a rookie in his first year he's been in the NFL behind one of the best QBs of all time for years... Please everyone stop with the Brock is decent talk. He is a giant giraffe who can't play football

He shows some promising flashes but those are negated by his consistent poor play.

Touchdown Texans!
One score game now.

Comeback time!!!!!
Brock Osweiler has made some good throws.

And what a TD run by big Brock!

It's the weirdest feeling to know your team is going to host a playoff game next week and not even give a crap that it's going to happen. For weeks on end I've been watching the most boring, incompetent, unentertaining, brand of football I've ever been subjected to and to be fair this parade of journeyman QB's has been going on for three goddamn years. It never gets any better. It just goes on and on and I still have no idea what this chump we put in charge is trying to do.

I don't even blame the chump. I blame the people who don't mind letting him run around in circles boring us to death with his made up as he goes along "too-complicated-for-mere-mortals" system.

I fell asleep after Os came out. I just don't care about this team as much as I did last year (which is starting to become an every year thing).

I officially nominate this for post of the year. 100% how I feel.

All in all I am happy for Brock. He needed a showing like this. No matter who starts next week I see BO'b reassesing how he calls the offense and if it is more like the second half of this game that at least gives me some hope. Why coach has not done more of that during the season I do not know but when he has used the offense more like the second half we always seem to look better.

Texans will not advance in the playoffs with Savage. Still hoping someone will convince OB to start Weeden instead of Savage or the Broncos' reject.

smh!!!!

Supertoad and Hervoyel will likely be the first ones celebrating when the Texans win their home wild-card game next weekend, advancing to the divisional round for the third time in franchise history. That's as far as we've ever been!

I fell asleep again as well.

Starting to be every week.

I think it is safe to say the Super Bowl looks to be the Pats vs the Cowboys.
Anybody but the Cowboys

I'd like to see that. But somehow I feel something crazy will happen on the NFC side. The Giants, Seahawks and Packers - those three teams never quit and always play hard. They also have quarterbacks that have all won the Super Bowl before. Twice in Eli Manning's case. They seem to elevate their game come playoff time.

The Dallas Cowboys are still a young team with a rookie quarterback. And most of their veterans only know the feeling of "heartbreak" come playoff time.

It will be interesting to see who the Cowboys play at home in the divisional round. Hopefully they're not rusty with the week off, and playing a hungry team getting hot at the right time with a Super Bowl winning, experienced in the playoffs quarterback.

If only the Cowboys can avoid the Giants, Seahawks and Packers in the playoffs I'd like their chances even more. But they're going to run into one of them most likely.

I think it will be very telling in regards to Os if he plays and struggles with BO'b using him like he has all season or if he struggles being used more like the second half of todays game. I have a feeling that we will know a lot more about Os and BO'b and who is more to blame for the struggles Os has gone through this season.

I would bet anything we will see Os next week because he is after all the 17 million dollar man and the team took a big leap of faith in bringing him for that price.

Lets see if BO'b has too much pride to acknowledge that the way he has run the offense for the most part has not worked and goes back to that or he shows that he can adapt and change to what seems to work best.

You make some valid points for sure. The Cowboys are a team I hate so I hope they fail. But I might like their failure more if they fail in the Super Bowl in a big way.

I hate that once again in our conference the Pats are the team to beat.
