**Official Game-Day Thread** Chiefs at Texans - Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016!!

The rule has been stated repeatedly. If a player is going down while making a catch they have to remain in possession all the way through hitting the ground.

That was no surprise.
Same receiver crosses the goal line with the third step, it's a touchdown.

Not if he isn't established running (not going to the ground) with possession. Just like the Dez play.
Dez was outside the end zone prior to losing possession. If you're in possession as a runner and cross the goal line, it's a TD. NFL is inconsistent with their determinations based on field position.

Going to be real close on that call. Would feel better had initial ruling been TD.

Why wasn't that pass interference in the TD incompletion to Hopkins. Nothing incidental about that.

Humor me here:

On borderline TD plays, why don't refs call it a TD so that it's automatically reviewed instead of a coaches challenge being used?

Clowney limped off the field along the sideline about 30 minutes ago. Since he's come back into the game, he has been contained and unimpactful.

That's a good idea. Kinda like tie goes to the runner. Give them the benifit of the doubt and if it's wrong over turn it.
