The way the Bills are rushing, if that was a fake WR screen to one side and throw to the other, it would have been wide open.
 
We are up by 10 against a terrible team. Both drives started inside 30 I think. Really O is not doing much. No surprise I guess when you leader is BOB

Davenport has played fine so far.

He did get tossed on one play. Failed to pick up a Blitzer from way outside, & didn't pick up a stunt as well as he should. But more often than not he's doing his job in pass pro.

You just named 3 plays in a little over a qtr.

Extrapolate that out for a full game and you have 10-12 terrible plays out of 80-85. The kind of plays that gets Watson a punctured lung/torn ACL.
 
Is anyone really surprised that DW4 is throwing INTs? That's what he did in college and he was very lucky not to have many more last season.
 
Not disaster in this game. Probably cost us 3 points. I sure would not have chosen 84 to throw to. DW trying to hard to make a play again. Pro and con of Watson.

I re-watched it, and I think it was Griffin, but Griffin had a defender riding his back--no call--and wasn't able to make a play...still, that doesn't account for the bad throw decision considering there was the other defender in position.

If the defender didn't catch the ball, maybe they would call holding on Griffin's defender. But since it was intercepted, I don't think it's a penalty.

But... But.... Watson is Manning and all he really needs is for BOB to let him play his game and he will be in the HOF by the start of next yr.

Notice how few posters are in this thread compared to a few yrs ago?
