Ravens agree to trade for Panthers WR Johnson
The Ravens are acquiring wide receiver Diontae Johnson from the Panthers, pending a physical.www.espn.com
The Colts have named Flacco their permanent starting QB.
I think he is done out there. Maybe in the NFL.
Williams is making a pattern of bad decisions."On October 8, my clients were pulled over for an alleged traffic violation. During the course of the stop, my clients were both cooperative and respectful with the police officers. With the two pistols that were found in the vehicle, they were both properly registered and the driver in the vehicle had the proper credentials to carry them. We have cooperated with law enforcement and will continue to do so," Williams' attorney, Todd Flood, said in a statement released to WXYZ-TV.![]()
Report: Warrant request made for Lions' Williams
The Wayne County Prosecutor's office is reviewing a warrant request for the arrest of Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams on a concealed weapon charge, WXYZ-TV in Detroit reported.www.espn.com
According to the report, Williams was riding as a passenger in a vehicle driven by his brother when they were stopped after midnight. Police asked Williams' brother if there were any weapons in the vehicle and he said there were two guns -- one in the backseat and one under Jameson Williams' passenger seat.
The gun in the backseat was registered to Williams' brother, who had a concealed pistol license. The gun under the passenger seat was registered to Jameson Williams, who did not have a concealed pistol license, according to the report. Jameson Williams, who repeatedly identified himself as a player for the Lions during the stop according to body camera audio, was handcuffed and put in the back of a police car.

Good for Flacco, and even better for the Texans since they made the move after the Texans swept them.
Bad for the Texans actually b/c although we own the tiebreaker against them, if he somehow gets them going and they reel of a number of wins and we faulter, they could win the division. With Richardson at the helm i felt comfy no rally was coming.
They’re coming into the heat of their schedule as well. We have to see how both teams fair during this stretch.
Difference between living in Michigan and Texas. This is a big nothing in a right to carry state like Texas."On October 8, my clients were pulled over for an alleged traffic violation. I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.Williams is making a pattern of bad decisions.
Thank God they waited a extra week to do it..

What we don't know is how often it works. Probably more than you'd think.nothing irritates me more than hearing/reading about famous or semi-famous individuals who run afoul of the law using the "you know who i am?" line or some variation of it. Its the absolute height of arrogance imo.
NOONE GIVES A RIP WHO YOU ARE OR WHAT YOU DO BUDDY..
True, but my whole thing is if you were as famous as you think/know you are 1, why would u need to ask that question & 2, what does that have to do with you breaking the law. Famous people love slumming it with the regular folk right up until they’re exposed to regular folk circumstances and consequences. What we don't know is how often it works. Probably more than you'd think.
Olineman needed to drop a dozen elbows in his gut. This is as dirty a play as I've seen in awhile!

The NFL fined Young $7,014.19 for the violation.
Just go to a full-time sky ump. Have a guy in the booth looking at the replays of every play. If the guys on the field blow a call, the sky ump can buzz in and reverse it. If we are really concerned about getting everything right.I think the NFL should experiment next year with 1 of the 2 challenges a coach may use to be available for any type of play at any time. Right or wrong you'd only get 1 chance to use it use on a play of your choice at any time (including inside of 2 min left). The existing rules would stay in place: start game with 2 challenges, if you challenge twice and win both then you are granted a third challenge, if you lose a challenge it costs you a timeout and if you don't have a timeout then you can't challenge.
I agree with any reason for anytime. This wouldn't work if no call is made and I don't think a sky ump (one person) would be able to view all aspects of a play in a timely manner.Just go to a full-time sky ump. You can use as many guys as you want. The NFL is a $multi-billion industry. The guys watching can send a signal to the umps to stop time if they see something. And I'm not advocating taking away challenges. This wouldn't work if no call is made and I don't think a sky ump (one person) would be able to view all aspects of a play in a timely manner.
Apparently you can't use as many guys as you want.. The league is a multi billion dollar industry, but for some reason they won't invest in full-time professional referees.. which I think would solve a lot of the issues we see today. I'm noticing this new group of refs won't even make calls on the field if they know they can pass the play up to NY.. and I've seen NY blow replays when the video evidence isn't there. Hell NY threw the Lions best defender out of a game for accidental contact, when the refs on the field didn't eject him. You can slow any hit like that down now and just throw a player out. It was a weak ejection. You can use as many guys as you want. The NFL is a $multi-billion industry. The guys watching can send a signal to the umps to stop time if they see something. This will come at some point. The technology is here, now. Go ahead and use it.
So that's one threat the Texans won't have to face week 15Chiefs TE Jared Wiley suffered a torn ACL this week in practice................ACL #25.

Now we know what those blue tents on the sidelines are REALLY used for.
And the hit on Olave was WAY NASTIER than the Lions DB. That defender wasn't thrown out of the game. Officiating is not good and very inconsistent.Hell NY threw the Lions best defender out of a game for accidental contact, when the refs on the field didn't eject him. This is another example of a rookie HC making a bad hiring decision. Kliff Kingsbury was their first choice as the OC and when they lost Kingsbury to Washington, they hired Getsy who was the Packers WR coach with Davante Adams. The Raiders also fired offensive line coach James Cregg and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello, both of whom, like Getsy, were in their first season with Las Vegas.![]()
Raiders' Pierce: OC change '100%' my decision
The Raiders have fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, offensive line coach James Cregg and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello, the team announced.www.espn.com
When did Getsy work with Justin Fields?Based on his work with Justin Fields, I'm not even sure Getsy has developed a young QB.
No consistency............no transparency. The NFL fined Young $7,014.19 for the violation.

That's it???
He was the Bears offensive coordinator from 2022 - 2023When did Getsy work with Justin Fields?
Erick All has been confirmed today as having suffered an ACL rupture............................ACL #26I watched the Bengals game......................their TE Erik All looked like a classic ACL. They have not called it yet. He started TC on the Non-Football injury list due to a torn ACL in the same knee last year when he was still in college. So All has now suffered the same injury within ~14 months, which is certainly not good. His injury history was also the main reason why he fell in the Draft.
Dak Prescott will miss multiple weeks with hamstring injuryI am sure that Prescott suffered a Grade II right hamstring injury..........that's his plant and push off leg
He will have problems trying to get power/push off behind any throw until fully healed................and when he does return, he will be at high risk for recurrence every time he tries to get power behind his throws or when trying to throw deep.
Raiders hired Getsy after he was fired as the Bears OC.When did Getsy work with Justin Fields?
