NFL Random Thought of the Day

Let's see if the Colts (a defense no where near as talented as ours) gives up a 98 yard TD scoring drive against the best QB to ever play the game, & probably the highest scoring offense in the league (not Alex Smith, Sam Bradford, Kaepernick, Locker, & Flacco & their struggling offenses).

They got a safety off the first one.:wadepalm:

26-14 Colts at the half.

I guess the Broncos defense laid down because they feel their offense is hopeless.

LoL....and people really thought that a Schaub led team was going to do anything this year. Watching Denver and Indy tonight, if these two teams are playing well there is 0 chance we beat either of them with Schaub at QB.

TK, our defense isn't good...now what? You said you don't want to fire wade in another thread. So what's next?

What is this pushing players rule from the jets/pats game?

Players can't push teammates on the line of scrimmage into the offensive formation. Kind of a crappy call to make but it was legit so Belichek can be upset all he wants. They said they would emphasize it more this year so should have been prepared.

Q: What's the difference between the Houston Texans and a dollar bill? A: You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.

Calvin Johnson. Wow... 14 catches 300+ yards

Oh and dez Bryant being an immature beyotch again

Jumped on league pass for the last 2 minutes of that game. So glad I did. I love Stafford, guy can sling the football.

And yes, Bryant was acting like a spoiled princess.

For my money those Cincinnati uniforms with dark jerseys and dark pants are as nice looking as any in the league.

************

Denver was down 21-7 but just scored to make it 21-14 in the 3rd. If anybody wants Washington I'll give 3-1 odds...:D

I really hate how the offense qb can move around point and bla bla bla..while knowing the snap count however if the defense jumps they get penalized

This IS pretty random. lol

The defense can actually move as much as they want, just don't jump into the neutral zone.

Well true. I just hate all the "neutral zone" pointing and head bobbing crap that I am watching.

Or it might be my payton manning hate lol

Yeah, I know what you mean. Manning drives me nuts sometimes with all the pre-snap stuff.

And the announcers are surprised that payton is still chucking it long late in fourth and up by 17

Lol

How about Andy Dalton today?

19 of 30 for 325 yards (10.8 ypa) 5 TDs 1 Int

5 touchdowns, none to Aj Green.

I'm only just now watching the Cowboy game. I can't believe Matt Stafford threw two INTs & one dang near a pick six before the half & they still won.

Or that Dallas' offense only scored 3 points before the half, but they wind up scoring 30 total.

I wonder if Miami Heat is playing a home game. I realize that Thursday nights are not necessarily the best night for football for working people (well neither is Monday night) but that stadium is half empty.

No NBA games today. Trick or treating takes priority over football, I guess.

KC scored 3 points in the first half.

That's inspired defense by the Buffalo Bills.

Two random thoughts......

CBS never finishes their replays (showing a crucial part of the play) and jump around too damned much. By 'jump around' I mean there's a play on the field. Time for a quick in-house commercial for a program on CBS. There's a ply on the field, let's go the the worthless sideline reporter. A play on the field, now let's show a QB comparison brought to you by Budweiser - Grab some Bud's......etc....etc. Fox does it too, actually. Even during baseball games. I miss watching between plays, you can catch very telling things in between plays you might not catch during the play.

Second random thought. That NFL/sports thing where players jump up and hit bodies in mid-air -- gayest thing since Liberace. Always has been, always will be.

I really hate Jared Allen but now I see that he is very involbed in renovating and building houses for wounded vets. Now I hate him a bit less.
